I'm so grateful for my son's kindergarten teacher for recognizing signs of Asperger's in my baby. He was able to do some therapy at school and although we had a few bumps along the way, he is now 15 years old and doing great!! I still worry everyday about his social skills and how he will manage on his own as an adult, but I am so grateful for how far he has come. ❀️
thanks for posting this- and the one thing thats make me mad is many sources of help and schools turn a blind eye if the level of autism isnt so *high and its sad cause help no matter what is needed for the well been of the person or child. i would proudly wear this button/patch and for support as this hits close to home - pikarich  2389.8 #44 10:55AM
I have to agree with you about the blind eye. My daughter is not autistic but does have learning issues. We switched her from private( where she got help) to public and she's too smart and not low enought to get the help she needs. It's BS. It's sad we have to fight so hard to get her the bit if help she needs! - Aussysmom  90.7 #3466 7:15PM
I might have to print these up for Jack's class! - BombFrogCM  670.2 #233 8:00PM

On Either side of the castle, by Snow White's wishing well or by Fantasy Faire. I love the view of the castle and all the beautiful trees and flowers. I like it best in the early evening.
Nice pic! My happy place is anywhere in Adventureland or New Orleans Square or along the Rivers of America... Or in the heart of Fantasyland... shoot, I guess if I was forced to pick one place it would be Adventureland by the Treehouse... Such a difficult question, lol!  - zenderella  408.7 #459 1:13PM

@bombfrog - I don't think these particular parents are intelligent enough to know how to look up those laws  - DisneyDavidEMT  1400.2 #86 2:38PM
I don't know how parents do that. She children sitting alone all the time. Hope these parents learned a lesson & they're lucky the children are safe. - Winnie111286  741.7 #202 4:03PM
Did you kick the 'parents' for the crappy parenting.  Gah I hope they leaned a lesson!! - Linzee  783.4 #186 11:09PM
I so would have gotten a CM so they could take the kids to city hall and given those parents a shock when they came out and their kids weren't there! They deserve to be freaked out!  Such horrible parenting  - thatgirljenn  757.2 #194 11:11PM

Where were they by splash mountain? Was it by the exit? After thinking about it, I didn't know if maybe the open walkway is where the pictures are or somewhere close. I still think it's horrible they left them but it would be a little better if they thought they might be by a CM. I am not saying that this is a CMs job or that it's right. Just trying to understand why they would think it was ok to leave them.  - warchanted  115.0 #3102 9:08PM

I'm sorry...what happened with your pass? - debbiev  751.1 #197 10:27PM
I upgraded to Premium from Deluxe. Now my pass won't work at all. I spent over 90 minutes dealing with it. It's a computer system problem and I knew that since hubby just went through this but we had an unsympathetic CM sup that wasted quite a bit of our time and didn't apologized until the end. Tacitly Hall helped with ride passes for our wasted time and then the earthquake happened and everything closed. We had them change them to an unlimited date thanks to heads up at first aid. No injuries. Just getting water. - MrsSchnooks  2658.9 #36 12:35AM

Crazy! News said almost 40 aftershocks (little) in past 3 hrs! Scientist also said 1 in 20 chance a bigger one will hit on this fault line following this now (didn't give a timeframe for that) so praying for y'all! πŸ˜˜πŸ™βœ¨ - TinkerSchelle  1162.2 #110 12:04AM

If you look at the Earthquake grid of CA on the USGS website, tnere are tons of earthquakes everyday in Cali. The little boy was so calm and just kept squeezing my hand tight. I tried talking to him in Spanish and English, but he couldn't tell me his name or age. I just kept thinking of how scared his parents must have been! I just waited with him and kept talking to him to try to make him feel safe. Security showed up with his dad after about 10 minutes. I would have been a hysterical mess!!!!!
One time I got lost at night but luckily I was found by @JenGwen323, @missariel33 and Zendurella. They were nice enough to stay with me and then walk me to my family when we found them. Nice gals those 3 - philliprocks  733.7 #203 10:15PM

Being lost is the worst feeling. I was with a church group of friends when I was 13. Me and another girl went to the bathroom and when we came out the whole group was gone. Later we found out they went on Matterhorn but we walked around calling names for over an hour. Finally we sat down on Main Street and waited for someone we knew to walk by. Horrible feeling. - amyb1076  191.6 #1945 6:37PM
I remember going to DL with my mom, my best friend and her mom when Indiana Jones first opened. My friend's mom and I got caught up in a crowd of Japanese tourists and couldn't find our way out!! We still laugh about that. 😊 - nerdgirl  82.4 #3588 7:46PM
I was at the American girl store on Black Friday and an entire family left to walk over to another store, leaving a little boy of about 2-3 standing at the door, looking in the windows.  I waited a few minutes to see if they would come back, they didn't.  So I told him they had left and pointed him in the right direction.  It took a while for him to catch up.  They never even noticed he was gone.  πŸ˜’ - bluefairy  643.3 #248 10:26PM
