I'm visiting my parents in Austin, and I found this guy in my parents' room. I got him for my dad during my very first visit to Disneyland-18 years ago! He still talks and has his tags on! It was such a sweet, nice surprise to see that my dad still displays Cogsworth proudly in his room :)

I feel like they should make another Haunted Mansion movie with more of a Lemony Snicket vibe. There's so much to work with that they didn't use in the Eddie Murphy movie. What do y'all think?

Guillermo Del Toro has been saying he's going to do one for years, but who knows if it will actually happen. I think it would be cool to see a more serious one and not so slap-sticky - Sarafina  459.0 #410 1:29PM
Hopefully since pacific rim is out he has the free time now - bonedaddy909  1173.0 #125 1:42PM
Yuck, why? Everyone tells me he is some great director. I have yet to see it. Those to horror movies he did, didn't even make me blink. - Lelundrial  478.4 #386 11:35AM
*two - Lelundrial  478.4 #386 11:35AM
Yes, Guillermo is working on the HM movie. He is obsessed with the Haunted Mansion and even has a room in his house dedicated to the Haunted Mansion. I've been lucky enough to attend three of his panels at ComicCon and WonderCon - he has been working with Disney for about a year. Now that his Pacific Rim is finally hitting theaters, he will return his focus. I cannot wait. - DeadliestPassholder  196.2 #1929 2:03PM
The only thing is that he has tons of movies he said he wants to make and is in the process of starting, so who knows what will get made out of that list. He's a great director, but not always great at realizing what he has time for and what he doesn't before promising fans. - Sarafina  459.0 #410 11:40AM
Guillermo is perfect! This makes me so happy! - Katekelly  9.4 #9879 4:09PM
I'd prefer that they don't make any more HM movies. - HappyHaunt1000th  33.3 #5123 10:45AM

From my most recent trip a few days ago. I have literally fifty more amazing WOC photos, but I thought this one was extra cute! Thank you Note II for taking photos during video! Is there anywhere to post albums of photos? a blog maybe (I could make one and add anyone who wanted to post as an administrator)? I have so many fun Disney pictures, and I'm sure y'all do too!

With star tours and the new Disney-Lucasfilm merge, I thought it would be okay to share a photo of my puppy, Marlowe's Halloween costume. Everyone always says she looks just like the cute black ewok from The Ewok Adventure so this year we dressed her up to the nines.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚!! Adorable Marlowe!! She does look cute, but I wonder what she thinks!! - Willierose  2035.6 #59 9:17PM

Do AP holders get discounts on blackout out days? Like if I wanted to go tomorrow and Sunday, but tomorrow is blacked out for me, do I have to pay full price for that day's ticket? Or is there some kind of AP holder special deal?

Here's the info from the FAQ's ๐Ÿ˜Š "Blockout Day tickets are available for purchase and are valid on a day that your Annual Passport is blocked out but you wish to visit Disneyland Resort. Blockout Day tickets are Park Hopper tickets and are $70 each (prices subject to change without notice). These tickets are only available at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths on the day you visit. Annual Passholders must present their valid Annual Passport and valid Blockout Day ticket to be admitted into Disneyland Resort on a Blockout Day. If you have purchased the parking benefit, it is valid on Blockout Days. The parking benefit is valid on all days except July 4 and December 31. Prices are subject to change without notice. There are no refunds and pro-rated discounts." - SPandEvLover  3110.6 #36 4:33PM

Yes there are block out tics. I think around $60. Not sure on price - Minnis2Society  369.9 #550 4:30PM
If blockout tickets are about 70, wouldn't it be about the same to upgrade your ap at the ticketbooth? - GarnerPhotography  324.7 #691 8:54PM
Remember if u have parking on your pass and u r blacke out, your parking is too. So that $70 to get in and $15 to park. - CM_Tamstirr  548.2 #326 12:30AM
i have gone on my block out dates to DTD and have parked w/o paying. Also SPandEvLover's post says 'If you have purchased the parking benefit, it is valid on Blockout Days. The parking benefit is valid on all days except July 4 and December 31.' - MaidMiriam  305.1 #790 1:09AM

Tomorrow I'm taking my friend Nicole for her first trip to Disneyland! What rides/attractions should we absolutely not miss? Please keep in mind we have a ten month old with us, so we'll save the rollercoasters for our next trip (or we can do baby swap if lines are short.) I know you all are the people to ask! :) here's a picture of us, come say hi!

Tomorrow I'm venturing to Disneyland for the first time with an infant. Should be an interesting, fun day! My girl friend who is going with us is pregnant, so I think we'll be spending a lot of time in fantasyland! Anyone else going tomorrow? Anyone with young kids?

Have a great time! If you haven't, check out the baby care center! I can't recommend that place enough! Super clean changing area! They sell baby food, have quiet places to nurse, and microwaves to heat up bottles. That place has been a lifesaver for me! Plus it's cool inside and he CM's are great!! - RCmom  5220.9 #15 8:54AM

I was thinking of bringing the five month old I nanny to the park- mostly to enjoy the people watching and scenery. Any other suggestions.of things to do at the park with an infant?

Of course make sure you have permission from the parents first. That's a big trip for a five month old (for many reasons), that some parents might not comfortable with (unless they are with the baby). Also, if he hasn't been, I'd want to be the one to first bring my child to the parks. ๐Ÿ˜Š - Sweet_Irish_Cream  3872.8 #25 12:55PM
Exactly what I was thinking... If they're all for it then make sure you know exactly what they are and are not comfortable with... - cynDOLEwhip  1175.5 #124 12:58PM
I've already cleared it with mama. She has no problem with it :) - Katekelly  9.4 #9879 1:10PM
I brought my 5 week son and we rode a lot of the Fantasy Land attractions. I also enjoyed pushing the strollar thru downtown Disney too. - Dizkid  354.0 #589 1:41PM
There is a lot you can take a 5 month old that they will enjoy. My youngest has been going to the parks since she was 17 days old ;) I have a ring sling that I used at that age. I could loosen the sling enough to slip it out from under her bottom and sit her bottom directly on my lap and then tightened it up a bit to use as a second "seat belt" It also made holding a squirming little one a little safer and easier in line. For me, I could also nurse while moving along which obviously you don't need to worry about. She could nap and we could keep going on attractions. Small World, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, just about any of the dark rides are great. My daughter has loved Haunted Mansion since she was tiny. Pirates does not always agree with little ones becase of the drops in the beginning so I would pass on that one. Obviously any of the attactions with height limits aren't going to work. Watch the parade. There is so much to do! - Autoalice  159.4 #2439 2:26PM
