Has the candy cane making schedule been released yet for Disneyland? I feel like it's normally released by now for the dates and locations in the park to get a wrist band for one. Thanks!!

Thanx, I had a feeling on the apprentice's b-day we would have to go to DL to get them. Hopefully we can get them this year. We made it just in time to get the wristbands last year. - Lelundrial  729.6 #280 3:19PM
I'm not a big peppermint fan, are they really that good that you need a wristband? - Quiweez  776.7 #254 4:10PM
Fresh candy canes, made by hand the old fashioned way as I believe DL does, are pretty special, and not many places do this anymore. I'm not a huge peppermint fan either, but when I was younger, I worked in a little candy shop that made them on the weekends, and TONS of people would come to watch.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  632.1 #339 4:47PM
i think it's just the whole hand making it right there. which is cool. a few CMs advised to me the ones they have in the shops are exactly the same ones. so if you don't want to hassle with the wristband and lines, those are just as good. i have personally gotten one of the fresh ones and the ones in the shop. no taste difference :) - OhanaPhoto  6454.6 #21 5:31PM
If you can get a piece when it's warm...omg so good. Β But I would guess the ones at DL are cooled by the time guests get them - Spoonful_O_Sugar  632.1 #339 6:31PM

Countdown check in!: how many more days until your next Disney vacation? AND what is one thing you are most excited for about your trip?....For us we leave in 34 days for 7 glorious days! One thing I'm most excited for is to be able to spend my 30th birthday in the parks with my family...think it's the best way to celebrate a birthday 😍

25 more days!!!!!!!! I'm super excited to watch my granddaughter experience the magic! Also my mom who hasn't been since 1986, when I was pregnant with my daughter! I think she'll find things have changed a bit! We're going to take a 4 generation Disney photo!  - annierdh  211.3 #1909 7:05PM
How fun!!! You must share a picture of the 4 generations with all of us on here!  - DisneyDreamer18  213.1 #1882 7:18PM
That will be so fun and that yourMom can experience it through your daughters eyes. As a grandma my self, there is no better feeling in the world. So glad your mom can experience it✨✨ - mmddgp  1093.0 #7 7:07PM
What a wonderful memory! Definitely take the picture, time goes by so fast, I regret never doing that with my Grandfather. - varela2892  64.0 #4433 8:41PM
oh my goodness! I have a DW vacation in 48 days. My birthday is the 5th, yes I share it with a special man, Walt. We leave on the 12 for 6 full days. I have been many times but never in dec( my job prohibits it but I got brave and asked and was approved) so everything about the holiday there will be amazing. I have lunch reservations at the Biergarten in Germany with a pass to the processional at night and merideth Vieira is the narrator ( one of my favorite people) I have the dessert party booked for the Osborn lights at studios( last year here) we have tickets to the mvmcp at Mk and we have a sleigh ride booked (fort wilderness) for our last night at the resort. We will resort hop on the loop( monorail) to see their decorations and gingerbread houses. We will also head to universal a day to see Grinchmas and the Macy's parade. So so much to look forward to, I so can't wait!!πŸŽ„πŸŽ… - mmddgp  1093.0 #7 5:57PM

Alright so I am making final decisions on my next tattoo...which is going to be Disney themed. Sooo I thought it might be fun and cool to hear from those of you who have Disney themed tattoos and why you chose to get it! I'll start: I will be combining Cinderella (my favorite princess) and Peter Pan (in memory of my grandpa) in my tattoo. I will be getting "A dream is a wish your heart makes" tatt  More...

I tattooed my face so I can look just like Mickey! See? - phillip...  1367.4 #137 11:17PM
How about Tinker Bell along with the words you want,  A dream is a wish your heart makes,  coming out from her wand?  - Nikki3Mous3  126.4 #3163 11:22PM

Thoughts needed: Fantasmic dinner and show package is it worth it? We are looking at doing it for my birthday dinner when we are in Disneyland in November but just aren't sure if the package is truly worth it. Question time! We are taking our son on a surprise Disneyland trip in 15 days (it's killing me to keep the secret)! But...question is, he loves both the Goofy Kitchen Character Breakfast and the Character Breakfast inside DL park as well. Which one do you prefer and why? I want to get one booked but am torn on which one to go with for this trip. Thanks!!

I would do it at Plaza Inn since you are there for a short time. Get in the park with your Magic Morning, and book breakfast for maybe 90 minutes or two hours after you get into the park. Have a little something to hold you until then. Get a lot of rides in during those early hours, then you can relax and enjoy breakfast. Be ready with your camera and have an autograph book, as well. Have fun! I'm glad you decided to go for it! - MeridaFan  4244.1 #37 10:24PM
😍😍😍😍 miss you my friend ,hiiiii πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹ - pikarich  6097.7 #22 10:27PM
Great suggestions, thank you! I am glad we decided to go for it too. Keeping this secret has been so hard but I know it will make the excitement to go even more by us waiting to tell him. We've even have it all planned out with how we are telling him 😍 - DisneyDreamer18  213.1 #1882 10:27PM
I totally agree with MeridaFan !  Every minute in the park is magical!!!!! - DisneyPrincessT  195.3 #2110 10:31PM
I would make the reservation now to make sure they have space. Especially since that weekend will probably be busy. Nice thing is the Magic Morning or Early Entry, is a little later due to the race, I believe. But you won't be able to get in that day without a res in advance. You will have an awesome time!  And since you're at the awesome Grand, when it's hot in The afternoon, you can go back for a swim and regroup before coming back to the park in the evening and catching that new parade and fireworks show!  πŸ˜ - MeridaFan  4244.1 #37 11:27PM
It's changed a bit now, goofy kitchen gives you the most as far as food selection but the character here are now mostly of the fab five, inside at the plaza inn the food is limited but you get a bit more of variety of characters  - pikarich  6097.7 #22 10:08PM
What about the Grand Californian character breakfast? We haven't done that one before.  - DisneyDreamer18  213.1 #1882 10:09PM
They have more of the vegetarian options there and more fruit you can look at their menu on the website but there characters are more of the forest variety from pocahontas, brother bear, lion king and sometimes jungle book - pikarich  6097.7 #22 10:18PM

We have done Goofy's Twice and love it.  We get 7 am reservstions and then we can be in the park by 8.  Their food is fantastic and we pig out.  I want to feel full and satisfied after a meal, especially since they aren't cheap. - dianeburns1998  106.8 #3551 10:37PM

Okay need people's thoughts: I have a crazy idea of booking a last minute trip over Labor Day weekend for my husband, son and I for a surprise get away for our son before school starts. We are from Oregon so airfare, etc would happen....what would you do? We do also have a bigger 7 day Disneyland vacation booked 115 days from now but I am getting my first bonus from work and just feel like doing   More...

I hate to be on the opposing team but if it were me, I'd wait and save the and spend it on something fun and spontaneous on your next trip (115 days from now!) For me, hot weather and huge, last days of summer crowds wouldn't make for a fun vacation. I'd take the time to research some really fun and exciting activities and surprises... Plus, you'd probably have some money left over by not having to book new, last minute plane and hotel reservations. You can also spend the money on the new 60th merchandise and treats plus anything for the winter holidays. Congratulations on your bonus! 😻😻😻 - Catski23  29.3 #6286 2:49PM
