Does anyone know what is going on at Disneyland this weekend. A lot of the hotels are sold out????

It's Spring Break all over the country so there are a lot of people vacationing at the parks this week.  - 1HitchhikingGhost  293.3 #1035 5:45PM
Yeah, for today being a Monday it was unbelievably crowded. - LBChica  2550.2 #62 5:50PM
Plus that, the food & wine festival is going on and Kurt Russell will be there Saturday with his wine label! - debbiev  1488.2 #127 7:25PM
Oh okay thank you. I was there Saturday and crowds weren't to bad. I was just wondering because so many hotels were sold out. Thank you for your help. - Joeysariel  24.8 #6930 8:40PM

Are you allowed to take the rented scooters from the Disneyland Resort to Downtown Disney?

Not the ones you rent from Disneyland  - disneybob49  1154.8 #171 8:27PM
If you are renting it inside the park you have to return it before exiting.  - bearlove  154.4 #2747 8:40PM
Thank you for the info  - Joeysariel  24.8 #6930 9:06PM
But if you are staying at a nearby hotel, rental companies will deliver there and then you can take it wherever. They are often less expensive too. - JenGwen323  2088.2 #83 4:35AM

Quick question, I hope you can help. We are taking my mother to Disneyland for the first time. She is legally blind and disabled. She can not stand for a long time. What recommendations are there for her not to stand in line for a long time. Would I have to speak to City Hall? Any advice is welcomed. Thank you.

City Hall is a good place to start.  Are you bringing a wheel chair with you?  You can rent one daily at the park.  If you're staying for multiple days, its cheaper to rent one off property.  Most rental places will pick up and drop off at your hotel at no additional charge. - GoofyMom77  1022.1 #206 8:29PM
Yes. See city hall about a DAS pass. Most of the shows have good seating for wheelchairs. Plan to go to shows so she can enjoy the sounds. Catch the singing/musical entertainment around the park. Perhaps a train ride would be nice.  - JenGwen323  2088.2 #83 9:05PM
Also set proper expectations. Don't expect to get on everything, see all shows etc. Set a priority list. Maybe what you "must" do, then want to do and then do if you have time. Plan on taking frequent breaks. I learned when I had an infant I had to slow down and change expectations of getting everything done.  Also stop by City Hall or Chamber of Commerce to ask how they can make the trip easier. - DLKenCA  3016.0 #51 9:44PM

Hello Everyone, I was looking to book a hotel next weekend and I noticed that a lot of them are sold out and I was wondering is anyone knew if there was something going on or if it is just the start of the holiday season?

Next weekend is a RunDisney event...Avengers Race Weekend. There's a 5k Friday, 10K Saturday, and a Half Marathon Sunday.  Lot of out of town people participating. - Willierose  2375.1 #72 1:04AM

Both are good months. March though, is the start of the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot and the month of Spring Breaks too.  - BaseballMickey  8087.0 #13 2:03PM
