Hi friends! I don't have an iPhone any more and it's more difficult to post now. Can't tell you how many times I've tried to post from my new phone and it didn't work. Anyway, I'm thinking of you all and hope you are all doing great. Congrats to everyone who did the marathons! Have a good week!
Hey friends! Sorry, I've been MIA this week. Hubby worked a lot this week. I have lost a total of 4 pounds since I started my "lifestyle change" journey. Not sure how many weeks it took me to lose that. This week has been difficult. I've been over eating and bootcamp was hard. I'm dealing with painful shin splints and I'm not able to exercise at my best ability. It's really discouraging which is p More...
**Ahhh** I hear the angels singing...Baby boot camp was incredible! They worked my booty off. It was one hour of cardio drills, strength training circuits and then stretching. Hope its ok to share this pic! She was showing me her "plank". She kept cheering "great job, mama" when I was lagging behind the group. I may have not been able to keep up with everyone, but I kept going! Woot!
Hi, friends! Thank you for all the ideas on workouts. I tried doing a few different workout videos at home, but our living room is very small and limiting me. I have been doing more walking, but being that it rains a lot in Oregon I had a feeling that I wouldn't be consistent. With that said, I found out I get a discount through my insurance for a gym membership and joined a gym yesterday! I have More...

I have been up since 6am. Elias woke up to eat and I usually go back to bed with him, but today I didn't do that. I put on my new workout clothes and did a work out video. I did parts of two videos because I don't have a mat yet and my hardwood floor was killing my knees. I did about 20 mins total. I still have my work out clothes on and Im taking the kids for a walk when they get up. I get to e More...
Hi, everyone! I have been naughty ever since we got back from Disneyland. I went back to my old eating habits and now feel worse about myself than I did before I started WW. I need to get healthy and if not for me, for my kiddos.
Could everyone share their choice of workout?
I'm in need of some help for a project. We are building a clubhouse in our back yard. I want to add a few touches from the playhouse that was in Walt Disney's backyard for his daughters. Here is a clip of a home movie that shows the playhouse. http://youtu.be/xj8ikWcl2LY
Any details that you can spot will help! Thanks!
Hi everyone! It's been a while since I checked it. Time has flew by since we got back from DL. We had a great trip and can't wait to go back in December. I need to get back in to my Weight Watchers groove. We are on day 5 of potty training Mia and I'm finding potty training extremely stressful. I'm having a lot of anxiety and totally ate my feelings at jack in the box today.
Hope you all are doin More...

Hello, friends! We leave for Disneyland on Thursday. We are getting up at 4am and I have a feeling I won't sleep a wink that night. ;-)
I'm not sure if I met my 10lb weight loss goal. I was half way there about a month ago. I haven't been counting or weighing weekly, but I've been watching what I eat and controlling my portions. I started emeals a couple weeks ago and it has completely changed ou More...
Day 4 of being on WW. I feel like I haven't changed much in terms of what I eat, but I bet it's more than I realize. I'm making sure to measure my portions and I've been eating more veggies. I feel good that this will work for me because I don't have to give anything up. I love food and I think this is going to teach my how to enjoy food and be healthy at the same time.
Hi! Just wanted to intro myself. I'm new to CHUB33. My son, Elias turned 3 weeks yesterday. Time is flying by. It seems like just yesterday that we decided to start having children. We had a rough road, but were blessed with two children. I'm a little sad that my pregnancy days are over, but I have decided to focus on being healthier so I can be the best mom for them. I'm planning on starting weig More...
This is MrMOMzers wonderful picture with a little magic added! We've been beta testing the MouseWait Advanced Composer for awhile now. This allows approved MWers to create their own "column" in the Lounge with expanded posts, pics, and videos inside the post. We are ready to open this feature up to more people who are intersted in having their own MouseWait Column in the Lounge. Your posts could be featured on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ and seen by our 100,000+ strong social media audience!
This feature is best used for instructional posts, history posts (like Duchess_SMK's column), and for reporting news (i.e. BaseballMickey_CM's posts). You could also do this to create a post describing your recent visit to the Parks with multiple pictures, videos, and more--think of it like an article that would appear in a magazine. The Advanced Composer only works on the web version. GO HERE TO APPLY and watch your email for more info (make sure you're email client is not blocking our emails or sending them to Spam--for some reason icloud.com, me.com, and mac.com will not allow our messages to come through.)
Thank you to everyone who strives to add quality content to the Lounge! Thanks again to MrMOMzers for the amazing picture!
Mr. Disney was one of five children, four boys and a girl. He was the fourth born Disney son. He was named after his parents pastor and friend Walter Parr, a preacher at St. Paul Congregational Church. The pastor, in turn, will later name his son Elias, after Walt's father.
Most of Walt's childhood was spent on a farm in Marceline, Missouri, where he began drawing, painting and selling pictures to neighbors and family friends. In 1911, the family moved to Kansas City, where his love for trains really developed. His Uncle, Mike Martin, was a train Engineer who worked on the route between Fort Madison, Iowa, and Marceline. Walt would later work a summer job with the railroad, selling newspapers and snacks to the travelers. To read more about Walts love for trains

To watch a short biography of Walts life:
Walt and Lillian Disney with unnamed friend, London, 1935.
Walt Disney in my opinion, is a wonderful example of the American dream! He represents: imagination, optimism, creation, and self-made success in the American tradition. He brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past, it is certain, Walt Disney was a great man! He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions, which became one of the best-known motion-picture production companies in the world! Disney was an innovative animator and created the cartoon characters we all love to watch today. :) He won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of the magical playgrounds that ties us all together, Disneyland and Disney World. Had he been alive today he would be 112 years old! Happy birthday Walt! Thank you so much for believing in your dreams! You are a true inspiration.
In honor of today, it would be fun if we all mentioned our favorite quote from Mr. Disney. I'll go first, I have many, but this one always sticks out:
"I've always been interested in the past and history and I think it's vital."
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a terrific Thursday!
