Does anyone know when the frozen pre show packages will be out for October online right now you can only book reservations through 9/5/16

This is unofficial but a CM told me they might stop the pre show after the 5th because they're awaiting an announcement of the closure of Hollywood land (for the rumored Marvel takeover) which is where the pre-show takes place. - BAMBAM  955.8 #0 11:00PM
Nooooooo!!! I was going to do the pre-show for my sister's 40th bday, as a special treat! We will be there on the actual day of her birthday, and wanted to do this instead of a character breakfast. @@BAMBAM, thank you for the information, as I was wondering why I couldn't book 60 days out!  - CentralCoastAuntVon  125.7 #3212 11:14PM
Again, unofficial, so I hope that CM was wrong because I did the pre-show and thought it was worth it. (The $49 one) - BAMBAM  955.8 #0 11:18PM

I would love to go on Oct 31, but we can't. We have to be home and hand out candy. We decorate every year, and add somethings new. This year we are adding a projected witch, and I'm hoping to get another projector for the singing pumpkins. Same idea as haunted mansion. We are going Oct 19.  - Sugarbuzz  293.1 #1038 5:03PM

Has anyone purchase one of the Frozen Live packages. If so how was it what did you think. Is it worth it. We were thinking of buying the cheapest one the $49

I think they were just announced and started so it may be a little bit before someone has a review of the experience. πŸ˜• - 1HitchhikingGhost  293.3 #1035 2:57PM

We actually had a change of plans. My son thought the $300 dinner pkg was excessive (he wasn't impressed with looking at costumes and taking a pic onstage) so we opted for the $99 lunch instead. Anyone uses Disney Photo Pass. I wanted to get lots of pics since it's my grand daughter first time going to character breakfast meet and greet going to do the princess makeover we wanted to probably purchase a cd of all the photos. Anyone know how much. Any info you can give me and opinions will be great.

Cd are no longer an option and where discontinued.  There redid the photopass now called photopass+. There is one option where you can buy all the pictures with download I think it's Disney any day it let's you get all the picture from any one day so if you do this I would load up as many pics as possible on to one card or pass if available  - pikarich  6552.4 #21 12:22PM
So for the photo pass plus I need to take all my pictures in that one day if not if I take pictures on the other days of my trip. I have to pay per a photo is that correct - calme2  39.0 #126 12:58PM
Load all the pictures onto one photopass if possible as you visit the cms can load up the pics to that card. Then you go to Disney disneyphotopass site or at the resort . You can buy pics a la cart or download , or the best value is Disney one day as mentioned. If you need additional days there is no specials as this price is per day  - pikarich  6552.4 #21 1:26PM
However it works and whatever it costs, get it or you will regret it. Those memories cannot be replaced or duplicated especially since you said the word ' grand daughter'. Use the photo pass photographers as much as you can. I bought some and they do add a cute little 2016 or Star Wars graphic at the photo shop. - Bobbierocha  187.4 #2251 5:24PM
it is $39.99 for one day worth of pix.  or if only one pix i think it is about $12.99 or so.  and cannot put borders and stuff on them anymore.  i liked the $79.99 month long photopass better.   - MsTikiMermadam  1500.9 #126 3:07PM

We are staying at the paradise pier and enter normally through California grand hotel entrance to DCA my daughter I'd staying though at a good neighbor hotel can she use this entrance after the park is open to general public

It used to be open to anyone after 11 am or if she is with you they just check one room key so she can enter with you - UTDISNEYFAMILY  2055.5 #87 1:12PM
As far as I know anyone can use it during normal hours.  Just Disney hotels guests can go in for early entry.  - keepmovingforward  264.9 #1291 1:05PM
I believe it's 11am that anyone can enter. it is NOT open for everyone during park hours. I tried last weekend and had to wait 10 minutes. Typically it's 1-2 hours after park opens. Otherwise you need a Disney hotel key....or eat at Storytellers and they will let you in without a room key also. - DLKenCA  3016.0 #51 2:01PM
If you eat at whitewater snacks you can go in by showing your receipt.  one time this happened to us as they said we needed a room key. But we had entered from the park to go to whitewater for breakfast. They accepted our receipt and let us in, none of us were staying at the hotel. - snowgrey  8.7 #12779 2:14PM

For World of Color on fast pass distribution can I bring my daughter theme park ticket and insert it to also get her a fast pass with us for world of color or does she have to be in line with us to get the fast pass

She doesn't have to be in the line with you, she just has to be checked into the park. We check in and the my son and husband go do things I dont ride while I get fastpasses. - keepmovingforward  264.9 #1291 1:01PM
I agree. I do his with my mom all the time as it is easier for one person to navigate through congested fastpass areas (star tours). So long as the park ticket has been used for admission on that day, if is eligible for fastpasses. - TheRealAlice  237.9 #1581 1:57PM
She has to be IN the park (scanned at front gate), but doesn't need to be with you. You can take your entire party's tickets and get them while they wait in another ride line. - DLKenCA  3016.0 #51 2:02PM

Child has to wait outside with an adult.  You can roll the child up in the stroller to the CM at the entrance to the attraction.  As for the FP, really just one of you needs it if it's just the 2 of you and the child. - IDVandalSkipperCM  2638.7 #58 7:59PM

World of color dessert package at Disneyland. Has anyone went to this and how is the viewing area. Trying to decide if I should do the dessert package or the dinner package. Does anyone know the difference. Thanks guys for any info you can give

My understanding is the dessert has tables you sit at and dessert while you watch.  And the dinner ticket is a standing area after you've eaten dinner at the restaurant. - Taunton  1833.0 #101 9:31PM
I haven't done the desert package I was wondering the same thing when we saw world of colour we saw the dessert area was kind of back towards the little mermaid attraction with high tables and chairs but we would like info also - disneychu  330.9 #802 8:37PM
Wherever you end up, try to be the first people in the front part of the section on your tier. It's all standing so it's hard to see with people right in front of you. - Taunton  1833.0 #101 7:25AM

I live in Hawaii and thinking of getting the deluxe annual pass when we come in October. Does anyone have it and what kind of discounts do you get on the Disney hotels. We plan on coming this October for 9 nights and then again sometime in 2017 for 9 nights again. Any info greatly appreciated

sometimes they have AP sales in the disney hotels,  but very limited.  some neighbor hotels give ap disc,  some do not.  mostly we get food and merch discounts.  but some special ap only events happen,  which is fun. - MsTikiMermadam  1500.9 #126 4:20PM
Howsit!  I live on Maui and only go to the parks once a year. The APs are definitely the way to go if you're staying for any length of time.  As long as you go next year before they expire, you get 2 years for WAY less than the price of Park Hoppers for two visits (plus you get the discounts on all your food and souvenir purchases)!   We're going this year the first  two weeks of August (our passes expire the 3rd week). We'll now wait to buy new ones when we go next year (so we start the 2-yr cycle again). Which island do you live on? - msdizmaui  859.1 #236 4:10PM

Sitting and watching a show is good downtime for the kids too. I guess you have to get fast passes for the shows now but if there's extra room they let the standby line in.
