Has anyone else heard rumors of Club 33 being expanded. I heard this today from a friend who was there last night for Tony Baxter's retirement party. Sounds like they are going to create a new entrance and not use the one near Blue Bayou anymore!

Yeah sounds like they want to make it the Court De Angles the new entrance. There's even talk about doing away with the door AND the elevator, but I hope they decide to keep them even if they aren't used. - Sarafina 400.7 #338 1:33PM

So I have a question for those who use guest assistance cards. My boyfriend has trouble on stairs so we went to city hall and asked for a card and told the cm there that we just want to avoid stairs (for example, the indy stairs are not the easiest). The card we got only said to sit us in the front row of a vehicle or show and wasn't helpful at all (we couldn't use it on Midway Mania to avoid th More...

Sounds like it to me. I would have gone back when you saw what was written on the card and try to re-explain the issue. Next time try to tell them specifically what the issue is (reference the rides you did here) so they fully understand and if they don't write it in a way that would be helpful then tell them that right away. - lohofosho 332.9 #475 5:47PM
I think she got confused because I very clearly said no stairs and used Aladdin show as an example, but I don't know why she wouldn't think attractions would also need to be addressed as well. I can see the front row thing helping us there so there is no stair climbing, but it doesn't address stairs on attractions. - Sarafina 400.7 #338 9:19PM
A lot of the time gac cards aren't a huge help in dca, since it was built handicap accessible and wheelchairs can be used through the cues. ask cast members at attractions for help show them your card and let them know what needs need to be met. Best of luck - cmdlgurl

Oh and one more quick thought toy story midway mania I showed them my card they asked me to wait the appropriate time and offered me the chance to exit the attraction through an alternate exit without stairs.... Moral of the story ask ask ask!!! :) - cmdlgurl

I mean I thought we were being clear, we said no stairs several times, and when I explained this to two different ride cms at two rides, they both kind of hesitates because I guess they thought we were trying to get away with something. It was just a bad experience because I felt like we were questioned for something we thought wouldn't be questioned. The TSMM did give us a pass to come back later, but it was too late and we were too tired to wait in the now very long gac line. - Sarafina

FYI, There was just a 5.1 earthquake in SoCal, so there may be ride closures. It wasn't strong (epicenter was south of Palm Springs, about 90 miles from DL) but enough that it was felt and may close rides.

Anyone else having problems posting pics on android? Everytime I try, it shows me the resized message on bottom, but takes me back to lounge. Are my pics too big?
I have had this same issue occasionally. when it happens, I try a second time and it usually works. words of advise: always choose a picture BEFORE writing a long description. you may loose your whole post if it does indeed glitch when adding your pic. sorry this isn't more helpful, rarely does it not take the second time I try after it doesn't the first time. - tuesday737

I have this problem on ocassion especially if my phone is full of hundreds of pictures in general so one of two usually work, delete some pics or turn your phone off then on and that usually fixes the issue. - pikarich

Uh, been trying to get this to work all day and still no dice. I've had it happen from time to time before, so I knew to try multiple times and do it before I typed my caption, and still didn't work. Tried it with several different sizes, even down to 150x150 pixels and still wouldn't do it. Even uninstalled and reinstalled and no luck. I guess my phone just doesn't feel like it. - Sarafina

Omg, I'm so excited. Saw a few pictures of the new Blue Sky Cellar exhibit on the Fantasy Faire and saw a great bit of info on a new food card that is going to be there. The new Maurice’s Twisted Treats outdoor vending cart which will serve twisted bread sticks and Dole Whip drinks!!!!!
So excited about that and can't wait to have a shorter line for a Dole Whip.

So how do you feel about going on an attraction with people who clearly know it well and start either telling jokes/lines BEFORE they happen on the attraction?
Last night I had a horrible JC experience because there was a guy on board who was LOUDLY telling all the skipper jokes before the skipper said it and laughing so loudly. And if the JC didn't tell the joke he wanted (since they have man More...
There is a line between having fun and ruining the experience for other people. This sounds like the latter. Yes, people deserve to have fun but when a guest has spent a long time waiting in line it sucks to have someone taking away from the attraction. I think it's a basic respect thing. - Gimmer

I could understand if the guest's idea of a good time was reciting what he knew, but he definitely should have kept in mind that he (or she) was not the only one riding. Some people only visit the park rarely. To ruin another guest only experience is just unfair. - Mickey106
