When I uses to fly in from PHX it was cheaper to fly into SNA(Orange Co) also shuttle service was cheaper since it was closer than LAX
John Wayne in oc will definitely be more convenient and quicker. However, expect to pay more for it, convenience isn't free! Lax will be cheaper if you can handle the insanity. - ScubaSteve028

SNA is the best! I've always been flying into LAX and like you, taking the 45 min. Speedi Shuttle ride. Wait until you fly into SNA... it's like 15 min. max, and none of the crazyness of LAX! We now usually splurge and take a cab, since it isn't that far (and you don't have to sit and wait for the other 10 people to show up, or stop at 5 hotels before yours!). Good luck! - msdizmaui

The picnic or reserved dining tix from Ariel's Grotto are a pretty good way to go. Right in the center of the viewing area, so there are very good sight lines.

You go to the grizly river fast pass distribution as early as you can to get fast passes. Those passes will have your section color and return time on them (usually 1- 1 1/2 hrs before the show) I prefer blue section and like to get up to the railing no matter how close I am as it means no one can stand directly in front of me. - Pixarprincess

If you don't mind a slight side view, we always watch from the gazebos under the swings. Move a bench, grab a snack, and get there about an hour early (first showing) We love it there! - TinkerAli

It's gonna be in the low to mid 60's in Anaheim tomorrow and breezy so definitely dress warm. You don't necessarily have to be at DCA when the park opens but go as soon as possible because the fast passes might go faster now that the parks are becoming way more crowded. Have fun! - sarahpie
