Which is better to stay at disneyland resort hotel or good neighbor hotel
Depends on your budget and the reason you'll be utilizing the room most often - SPandEvLover  782.7 #122 1:58PM
Disneyland Resort hotels are just amazing, but they can be pricy. - ScooterMike  1959.8 #35 1:59PM
This is true. - dlmickeymouseCM  2350.4 #28 2:00PM
My kids love the Disneyland hotel pool, and there are magic morning days most days alternating either park, if you can wake up early. Saturday and Sunday has magic morning hours for both parks. Also, while the kids are in the pool you can grab some tropical drink or beer at Trader Sam's. Also, you are right next to ESPN Zone, in which my kids love the arcade. If your budget allows--then go fo it! - tink1999  7.9 #7670 6:39PM
Our room at Paradise Pier was very spacious and comfortable, but I must admit I would have liked to have been able to stay at Grand Californian. We would walk through the lobby of GC to get to and from the park. - Witchie77  265.4 #871 7:22PM

Outside the park the only place is DTD. You just have to show your park pass. Stops in TL. - islandRmand  42.7 #3922 6:26AM

Gasp! Don't let hojo see this! Lol yeah I believe they were decent - NeverlandTink  421.4 #304 7:56PM
Is that the one next to boardwalk? - Evilstitch  330.4 #473 7:58PM
Me & the hubby stay there all of the time - love its right there after a long day - Catmom9  183.9 #1821 8:54PM
We've stayed there twice - last trip was just last week - and I love how it's so close to the park! Literally right across from the transit entrance... about a 5 minute walk from the entrance gates to DL and DCA. Rooms are clean and all have a fridge and microwave. Free continental breakfast next door at Captain Kidd's - it's ok, free is always good - cold cereal, oatmeal, apple and orange juice, milk, toast, bagels, danish, hard boiled eggs, yogurt... fills your tummy before a day at the parks! The pool is ok - it's in a center "courtyard" so not a lot of sun, but makes for a good rest mid-afternoon if you want it... - AbbyDLfriend  233.2 #1198 9:11PM

i have stayed there. very quiet. only offer coffee for breakfast. the walk is a little far take the ART. this is my goto hotel. - EvilQueenJex  142.2 #2409 8:13PM
Yeah. I'd rather stay at Portofino or Annabella. - LaPetiteSirene  400.5 #334 10:35PM
Stayed at the Portofino once. It was very loud, someone was smoking weed on our floor and smoke filled our hall fire alarm went off in the middle of night. We stay at Candy Cane or Hojo. If your an AP member Hojo can have rated at $79 for a premium room looking straight at the Matterhorn! - WickedWench  576.2 #191 10:42PM

Going to take my son to disneyland nxt yr but want to character dining which is the best one?
A lot of people are partial to Goofy's Kitchen, but I like Storyteller's in the Grand Californian. - jediwnab  156.2 #2213 3:48PM
We prefer minnies breakfast in the park - Vinnymation  164.6 #2092 4:25PM
If you want to do buffet Goofy's Kitchen. If you want to sit down and order from a menu, Storytellers. - Lelundrial  341.4 #429 4:51PM
