It's always such a treat to be able to spend a few days in the parks for Christmas. Headed home now, but wanted to share this picture with all of you of Walt and Mickey as a reminder of what Disneyland truly is all about. Happy Holidays everyone!
#MWstory Around 2 years ago, I joined Mousewait officially and it was probably the best decision I ever made. I guess my story really starts when I was a kid and my dad and I would go to Disneyland every summer, just the two of us. They were the best times of my growing up considering my at home life made it hard to be a kid. Disney was always an escape.
Fast forward to 2011, when a Disney trip More...
I don't come on here as often anymore, but I'd like to take the time to thank MW, Admin, the members, and everyone who makes this app what it is. On this day, 2 years ago I joined the lounge and I tell you I have been blessed beyond belief with the friendships that have developed because of this app. I love seeing and meeting people at so many different walks of life who share one common love for More...
Hey Mousewait! Gosh it's been so long since I have been on, I almost feel guilty! Well, I just wanted to extend my love to all of you! I really wish I could be there to see all of your lovely smiles this weekend, but unfortunately my obligations at home are keeping me away for a few more weeks. To all you newbies I really hope you are enjoying your time in this wonderful app! These crazy cats are More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
