Looking for a bit of help. I adore this sign as it reminds me of my dad (was a volunteer forest ranger and avid lover of bears) and would love to own it. I have seen signs for other rides/parks before sold at World of Disney and throughout the park. Does anyone know where/if Disney ever sold a replica of this? I think I already know the answer, but I thought I would ask. Thanks for any help! pho  More...

Hopefully someone can help. - RadiatorSprings4Ever  2482.9 #65 6:47PM
I can't help but I feel the same way. I wish they had a lot more Grizzly Peak stuff for sale. They put so much effort into that new area but no magnets, signs, coffee mugs...Nothing. The stuff they do have is generic. I'm with you, I'd love that sign.  - tg4653  84.4 #4014 8:46PM
I feel like this the area that is most unreprrsented. When the store open there I thought they would have a lot of stuff displayed around that area, but it has been a little disappointing. Maybe someone at Disney is seeing these posts and will remedy that! - TheFoxandtheHound  20.6 #7642 7:00PM
Did you check Off the Page in DCA? Disneyland has been selling replica signs at Disneyana; maybe they'll get to DCA signs one of these days. - goofygal  12800.5 #7 5:26AM
I check there pretty often. We are at the parks nearly every weekend and nothing. The gallery where the bank used to be at Disneyland, World of Disney, and Off the Page are our first stops when we go to the parks. I also check the digital order screen they have for stuff they don't carry at the parks and nada.  - TheFoxandtheHound  20.6 #7642 7:03PM

For those of you watching the feed from Marvel's panel at San Diego Comic Con, they just announced to confirm that Tower of Terror will be converted to Guardians of the Galaxy. Apparently people booed at the announcement. https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2016/07/guardians-of-the-galaxy-mission-breakout-coming-to-disney-california-adventure-park-summer-2017/

I saw the Facebook video on the Disneyland page.  I will for sure miss Tower of Terror, but so far the concept art looks impressive for this attraction.  The queue making it look like you're at the collector's warehouse seems very interesting.  Also towards the end of the video it was said as the ride is going up and dropping, music from Peter Quill's mix tape will be playing and I think that sounds fun.  Again I will miss ToT and all the fun times I've had on that ride, but in my opinion this does seem interesting.  - SorcererD91  4904.3 #29 7:40PM

This makes me sad.  They are taking out great things and changing them all the time.  They should have created a separate park for Marvel and Star Wars and then they could triple the price. lol.  It should be a seperate park though. - potatohead25  805.4 #256 11:33PM
This completely sucks. ToT is one of my favorite rides and it's a big one in DCA. It's a crowd pleaser so I don't get why Disney wants to put the Guardians ride there. Does anyone know when they'll close down ToT? - TakeMeToNeverland19  28.8 #6445 1:12AM

Hi! Don't post hardly ever, but I wanted to share something funny that happened tonight. A Cast Member on The Haunted Mansion made me jump a bit tonight. We've been on it enough that we know where the doors will open after the "stretching room" part finishes. We were standing by the door, when the room went black at the end and I turned around (in the dark) getting ready to walk through the door  More...

We decided to take a break by the fire in the Grand Californian today and as we were sitting there a Cast Member walked up dressed like a hiker asking if we were there for story time. We had no idea what he was referring to; obviously not seeing the sign that said "Story Time: 5:30 and 7:30". Well, he said "Not a problem, but you are welcome to listen" and a family who was visiting sat down and th  More...

I just have to say this: to all the CMs that work the security search/checkpoints before you enter, thank you for always being so kind and happy. I have never met nor encountered a rude CM there and, I can imagine, they deal with crabby people all day who don't want to be searched which could easily effect their attitude; but each CM maintains a professional and uplifting Disney spirit that welcom  More...

I believe that if you've ever worked in a service industry and/or a former CM, You tend to understand what these fine folk deal with constantly. We've all seen how shamefully rude "guests" are to the hardworking CMs. I think that we all find ourselves being a little bit of a better person when we visit the parks. I always say thanks to them every time I go through now. I have 2 dogs I travel with and one time I accidentally dropped one of their leashes and before I knew it my little girl took off running, the CM at bag check was so quick she was able to yelled at the security who was able to catch her for me and since my bag had fallen off the table and she helped pick up the stuff for me, and also had the security guard help me to get to the kennels. thats why now I make it easy for them to check my bags and bring a dog stroller with me. - aliasgrrl86  220.1 #1811 2:17AM

A question for everyone that my wife and I always ask when we are on the Haunted Mansion: if given the opportunity, would you walk through the Haunted Mansion by yourself? Walk in, start the elevator, get on the ride, and exit without anyone there? Honestly, I don't think I could. With somebody the ride is fun, but to ride let alone walk through it alone is a little too brave for me.

Dream come true! I think it would be awesome! I would definitely do it ๎— - YourGhostHostess  207.5 #1993 2:34PM

believe it or not, I did.  about 10 or so years back, end of the night.  Kinda awkward with just me and the CM in the elevator. - TheBudd  357.3 #704 3:33PM
Being a Disney Fannatic I know the HM like the back of my hand so I would say I would do it just to do it for the experience. - Donaldfan_532  248.8 #1445 3:43PM
No way! I can't even ride this ride by myself. I cried twice, one time because the CM in the elevator somehow snuck up behind my sister and I, and when the lights turned on I saw him next to my sister, smiling creepily and I yelled so loud everyone turned around and I started crying because.. Well I cry when I get scared lol. A year later, I tried again... Same CM, he must followed us to our buggy and he was on the side holding on, so when we were all settled he slowly peeked in and once again...I yelled and cried. I have never been on since and refuse to even walk by. Lol - Khuckabey  3.2 #35630 6:05PM

Hey all! I'm considering surprising my wife with a 3 day trip to Disneyland while staying at the Grand Californian. We have been AP holders for years, but we've always talked about staying at the hotel. I know it is expensive, but for those who have done it was it worth it? Is there anything special about it like room service, breakfast, enter park early, etc? When is a good time to stay (i.e.   More...

The Grand is nice, conveniently located and has a fabulous lobby to relax in. I think the DL Hotel has a magic feel that is lacking at The Grand. So, it depends what you are looking for. I am glad I was able to experience staying at The Grand but I wouldn't stay there again....unless I got an amazing deal.  - Jewelz  557.9 #402 10:21PM
I haven't done it yet but I know hotel guests can take advantage of magic morning hours which I believe are listed on the Disneyland calendar so you can plan in advance! :) I hope you and your wife have a great time whichever idea you decide to do! :) - SarahLovesDisney  85.2 #3995 10:16PM

Two questions: 1. Where is your favorite place to relax at Disneyland that you know nobody else will be? 2. What is one secret that you discovered about the park or ride that you think nobody knows about and would like to share?
