I just have to say this: to all the CMs that work the security search/checkpoints before you enter, thank you for always being so kind and happy. I have never met nor encountered a rude CM there and, I can imagine, they deal with crabby people all day who don't want to be searched which could easily effect their attitude; but each CM maintains a professional and uplifting Disney spirit that welcom More...

I believe that if you've ever worked in a service industry and/or a former CM, You tend to understand what these fine folk deal with constantly. We've all seen how shamefully rude "guests" are to the hardworking CMs. I think that we all find ourselves being a little bit of a better person when we visit the parks. I always say thanks to them every time I go through now. I have 2 dogs I travel with and one time I accidentally dropped one of their leashes and before I knew it my little girl took off running, the CM at bag check was so quick she was able to yelled at the security who was able to catch her for me and since my bag had fallen off the table and she helped pick up the stuff for me, and also had the security guard help me to get to the kennels. thats why now I make it easy for them to check my bags and bring a dog stroller with me. - aliasgrrl86 220.1 #1353 2:17AM

A question for everyone that my wife and I always ask when we are on the Haunted Mansion: if given the opportunity, would you walk through the Haunted Mansion by yourself? Walk in, start the elevator, get on the ride, and exit without anyone there? Honestly, I don't think I could. With somebody the ride is fun, but to ride let alone walk through it alone is a little too brave for me.

No way! I can't even ride this ride by myself. I cried twice, one time because the CM in the elevator somehow snuck up behind my sister and I, and when the lights turned on I saw him next to my sister, smiling creepily and I yelled so loud everyone turned around and I started crying because.. Well I cry when I get scared lol. A year later, I tried again... Same CM, he must followed us to our buggy and he was on the side holding on, so when we were all settled he slowly peeked in and once again...I yelled and cried. Hey all! I'm considering surprising my wife with a 3 day trip to Disneyland while staying at the Grand Californian. We have been AP holders for years, but we've always talked about staying at the hotel. I know it is expensive, but for those who have done it was it worth it? The Grand is nice, conveniently located and has a fabulous lobby to relax in. I think the DL Hotel has a magic feel that is lacking at The Grand. So, it depends what you are looking for. I couldn't get a picture fast enough, but has anyone noticed that the speakers that are behind the rider on Space Mountain look like Mickey? One big center speaker and two little ones on top. Totally noticed that last night.
