GoPro has an option for taking still shots whilein video mode. ย You can do one shot a minute up to 60 I think. Depends on the version, and you will need some attachments and extra batteries plus 64gb cards work best. I have the latest ย black edition. You can buy lots ย of attachments on eBay too. But then the canon t series cameras take awesome shots , have video mode, And the latest models hav  More...
I just got the new GoPro 4 Silver and it's awesome for those occasions when you have people in front of you and you don't want head shots in your way. It also takes movies and you don't need to worry about it getting out of focus. It comes with a few attachments, but I recommend buying the "selfie-stick", so there's no need to ask anyone to take your picture. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ - LaBelleParis  846.6 #181 6:26PM
I think the combination of a GoPro and Photopass would be stellar! - MJmouse  269.8 #1036 6:46PM
Thanks, you guys! You definitely got me leaning towards a GoPro! I've seen mixed opinions on picture quality. Are the pictures similar to a point and shoot camera's quality? Thanks again for your help! - MamalovesMinnie  14.0 #7610 7:24PM
Look at Hendizl 's posts. I think you'll go with a go pro after seeing those! - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  622.5 #274 7:31PM
Being an amateur photographer who shoots with a DSLR, the GoPro is good, but it only shoots in a wide angle, fish eye. If I were you, I would go with a more advanced point and shoot that does record good video also.  - BaseballMickey_CM  6085.3 #13 8:28PM
