I am a stay at home mommy of an adorable 2 year old little girl and a brand new baby girl. I have been married for 5 years to a wonderful man who since meeting me has become as
obsessed as me about Disneyland.
Just finished my daughters birthday outfit for her 3rd birthday party next weekend. She wanted a tinkerbell theme and this is what I came up with. The flower in the middle of the tutu has a tinkerbell bottle cap in the center.
I would like to introduce you all to the newest member to my family. My beautiful daughter Aurora Danielle. She was born 1/13/12 weighing 6lbs 5oz and 19.5 inches long. She was around 37 weeks along. And although nothing went the way we thought it would she is here and healthy.
Not Disney related. But asking for positive thoughts and prayers. Our little princess is due February 3rd. We found out she is breech. On top of that today we found out I am boarder line pre-eclamptic. They are trying to avoid a c-section since she is so high they would have to do a verticle incision which takes much longer to heal and is much more painful. I will be 37 weeks tomorrow and so they More...
I just wanted to say how amazing CMBaloo is and thank him for all his help. He helped me to get a R2D2 popcorn bucket for my husband fathers day. My husband absolutely loves it and was very surprised. I know CMBaloo does not come in here anymore but I just wanted to share with all of you his kindness and generosity.
RAK time. I am RAKing off a custom made Nightmare before Christmas Jack Skellington hair bow. I custom make these and you can choose from the larger bow on top or the smaller one on the bottom. The larger one works better for older kids and adults. The smaller one is better for babies and toddlers. Each bow is attached to a covered alligator clip. Just comment below with which one you would prefer More...
RAK time. This is just like the Mickey and Minnie photo magnet I RAKed off last week. But this one is the Cheshire cat. To enter just post below other characters that might work for these. I am trying to get ideas for other ones so I can make them and add them to my etsy store. I will pick a winner Friday 3/18 at 5pm. Good luck.
Time for a RAK. I just made a bunch of these for my daughters birthday. I had some extra so i thought why not do a RAK. They are magnet picture frames. You can choose to have a name put on it or not. Also you can choose a Minnie mouse one like pictured, or a Mickey mouse one(no bow). Just post below which u would like. Winner will be chosen Wednesday march 9th at 5pm. Good luck
Thought this was cute. Went into daughters playroom earlier and saw this. The cat just laying outside daughters snow white cottage. Could you imagine snow white and the dwarfs coming out and seeing that laying in front of the door(u know if you consider the scaled down size of the cottage).
Not Disney related but earlier today I found the sweetest little puppy. Poor guy was a wet and cold. He looks to be a shih tzu. But not well cared for. He was super hungry. Not really groomed well. Super long nails. He has a harness on but no tags or micro chip. Went around the neighborhood but no one is missing a dog Not really a dog person but if no one come looking for
him think we will keep More...
Tried posting this earlier but it did not post so I'll try again. Need help with a question. I bought my daughter a Minnie mouse head band at company D today and a bow that snaps onto it. It has spots for eara to snap on but they did not have any ears there. Do they still carry them in the park. I know the mad hatter used to carry the ears for the customizable hats and headbands. Would really appr More...
Groundbreaking for the Temple of the Forbidden Eye occurred in August 1993. More than 400 Imagineers worked on its design and construction. Tony Baxter led a core project team of nearly 100 Imagineers.
Several early concepts were considered for Indy including a walk-through adventure and a high-speed mine car adventure within a temple. To avoid a long queue, Imagineers even considered using Jungle Cruise launches to shuttle guests to the loading area. The team tested key show elements in a Burbank warehouse on a full-sized elevated track that resembled a freeway. This enabled the team to test set pieces, lighting, effects, transport clearances and motion profiles.
To create space for the 0.5-mile queue area and the 50,000-square-foot show building, an area of the former "Eeyore" parking lot was demolished, and the Monorail and Jungle Cruise attractions were rerouted. As I'm sure some of you know, an old Eeyore parking sign is hidden up in the rafters high above the projection room (in the queue). The sign pays homage to the Eeyore Parking Lot.
To watch some scenes from the opening ceremony:
Happy 19th birthday Indy!
Have you been on this attraction? If so, what is your favorite part or scene?
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a magnificent Monday!
