I love this, it's a Disneyland classic! When I think Grand Canyon, I think about the Brady Bunch & Disneyland!
I've always loved the GC diorama portion, and to add to your post: The main theme of Ferde Grofé's "On The Trail," the third movement from his Grand Canyon Suite, is piped in through the train's sound system as it enters the diorama. The same movement was used in Disney's 1958 film "Grand Canyon" which was a "pictorial representation" of the music, filmed at the Grand Canyon. - Gia
