Does anyone know where to buy the twilight Disneyland tickets? The tickets that are valid from 4pm to park closing? I'm going down to LA for the Hillsong church conference on Friday and Saturday and I wanted to try to go to Disneyland on Saturday night after the conference. It is at the Nokia theater so the discounted tickets from the Anaheim convention center don't apply (to my knowledge). Anythi More...
Unfortunately, my fiancé and I had to let our APs expire without renewing them. We are saving for our first house and will be getting married July 2014. We won't be back to the parks for probably a year so I am very thankful to have MW. I'm sad that we will be missing our favorite place but very excited for the future!
Hey friends! I am curious to know. Do you have any Disney themed rooms in your house? If so, what do you have? My fiancé and I are buying our first house pretty soon and we have been collecting Disney movie posters for a Disney themed movie room. We will possibly be doing another room as well since we will be purchasing some Disney paintings and figures pretty soon.
Sorry for the picture spam. Last post, I promise! 😊
Picture on the left is the Partners statue that you can actually walk up to and take pictures with! It is in the Legends Plaza. I'm 5'7 so that statue is pretty tall! The picture on the right is me with an actual Oscar inside of the Archives at the studios! It was very heavy. It was an amazing day and I would highly recommend taking the D23 to More...
#NEWS - According to a CM I spoke with on my most recent visit (last weekend), Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is about 7 weeks behind at the moment. He said it is not likely that the attraction will open by it's estimated opening date. I did a couple of searches to make sure someone hasn't shared this information already in the lounge and couldn't find anything so sorry if this info has already be More...
My fiancé and I are finally taking a tour of Disney's animation studios! We are going to the D23 tour on May 4th and then heading to Disneyland for the rest of the weekend. Is anyone else taking the tour that day?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
