How is DL in early-ish June? We might go out 6/9 and come back 6/13. Three days in the parks. First visit. Will stay at DVC at Grand Californian. Cannot go any earlier (school exams). Tips/suggestions? PS: we need to choose to use or bank DVC points by apr 1, dad won't know if he teaches during that time til mid-late April. Would that be too late to get a room? The villas do get booked fairy quickly during peak season. You may want to inquire with DVC to see availability if this is something you really want to do. Otherwise, they will give you other options if others are available for the exchange price. - EpicDio 390.1 #353 5:48PM

I usually go every year the 1st weekend of june we stay for a week it is a good time to go cause there is not alot of people. Downfall is the 1st week and 2nd week of june still have grad nites they are usually on wednesday & thursday nights so the park closes early like around 8:00 or 9:00. Okay. My brother is getting married out in Oregon sometime next August(dont know when yet, but the dates would have little to no flexibility). It would prolly be just Dad and I, mum wanting to stay with my bro. We want to go to DL. I've never been, dad's been a couple times in the '60s. How long should we stay? Some people can experience everything in one day, but honestly it's more magical if you take your time and spend at least two days. Hotel is pretty much based on how much you want to spend. For an August trip, I'ld say four full days. That way you're not rushed to try and do everything and the heat won't get to you as bad cause you'll be able to slow down and soak up all the atmosphere. - GoofyMom77 251.7 #1019 3:51PM

Spend no less the three days . I live in Oregon and I have driven to Fresno Cali a couple times and let me tell you that's a rough drive and it's still 4 to 5 hours farther I recommend flying . Round trip for us was about $100 more then price of gas .we book our Disney trip threw AAA and have enjoyed our last two trips. I wouldnt say they were puffball puppies, but Ozzy is now hahaha. Toto was really small (a runt i think) with her ears already pricked up.
