Located in hawaii. My love affair with disney and dl started when I was just a baby in winnie the pooh crib. My favorite character is Ariel. I lived in LA for 4 years where I loved my AP. Miss it now though. I am also a proud sister of alpha sigma tau fro
Missing California Adventure....these pics are from our late March trip...cars land was great! Tip: the second you get to the park try for a RSR fast pass...we got some of the last ones about an hour after the park opened.
Ugh feeling down and need a big pick me up mouse wait family...it's my birthday and I just received a rejection letter to grad school for a creative writing program that I was hoping and praying to get in for the last five months. Now I'm really down...any words of encouragement?
Because of mousewait...an ode. Because of mouse wait I have a place to fly my Disney freak flag proudly. Because of mousewait I can feel secure in knowing there are others like me when I get that weird "Grow up" look when I share my Disney excitement with nonbelievers (of Disney magic). Because of mousewait I can enjoy awesome rates at Hojos.Because of mousewait I can learn of special hidden Disne More...
Stitch was so funny! After I told him I was from Hawaii he wanted to keep me. My husband told stitch I was his, then stitch got up in his face and growled!!! He was so cute in character he also chased the monorail (I've posted this pic) and started pushing another cast member! :) His badness level was unusually high
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
