I'm a mother of one, a wife and a Disney lover. I got to take my husband and daughter to Disney for their first time and it was priceless! Now I want to take everyone so they can experience the magic for themselves...lol. I've recently become obsessed w
Hey all! Haven't been on in a while so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but was just curious if you've ever stayed at the desert palms and how was it? Also, will be there for Halloween. Any must see's/do's??
Hoping to make it to Disneyland for Halloween or Christmas this year. It will be or first time in the parks for the holidays, is there anything that we must do? Also, any recommendations for the best good neighbor hotels...?
I'm pretty new to MW but I'm glad I found a place where I can share my love and excitement for DLR & DCA. we leave for vacation in 13 days and will be in the parks somewhere between 7/16 & 7/23. This will be our longest stay and I an super thrilled. Wish we were on our way now!!!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
