Wonderful! Thank you all very much for your advice and input :) It is nice to know that there are many positive reviews and experiences there. I wish we could stay at one of the resort hotels...but we will have to save up and stay there another year ;)
Completely agree with you! Let your son be young and innocent for as long as you can. Let him believe in the magic!! Disneyland is the land of imagination...If there were a place animals could talk, it would be the jungle cruise for sure ;)
I am a parent..and I CAN'T stand kid leashes!! It doesn't teach boundaries...you're just setting your kids up for trouble. Put them in a stroller..don't be lazy and be a parent, teach your children, don't leash them and have them drag you around!
I think that you are doing a wonderful thing for this little girl! I would focus on the good that you are doing and the excitement/joy that you bring to her when she receives her letter. :) You and her mommy will know what to do when the time comes to stop the pen pal letters. ;) It will fall into place...maybe she won't tell her daughter it was you, and if she does I agree with the above comment- More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
