Today while I was grouping at jellies a lady asked me if I wanted two small boys, I giggled and said I already have one. I look down at the boys and they were hitting each other. The woman said they wouldn't keep their hands to themselves. I asked if they were brothers and the woman said no, they were cousins. I bent down and told the boys that I knew Santa Claus and if they didn't start being nic More...

Notice the fireman works at Disneyland! So of course I said I work there too! He hands my son a fire Mickey sticker. So here is my son looking like he went to Disneyland when we went to the grocery store! LO More...
I know how the "turkey leg" is the topic of debate in the lounge sometimes...it's either a yes or a no with most folks! In honor of Thanksgiving I made 26 of these "turkey legs" for my son's 1st grade class. They have popcorn and candy corn inside. I figured some of you may appreciate this...Happy (early) Turkey Day! 🍗🍗🍗🍗
Question: what is your opinion of the World of Color dining package at Ariel's Grotto? I've never eaten there and read some of the reviews on the food. I think my family would enjoy the food options here more than Carthay Circle. I already know the difference in the viewing area for the reserved dining. Thank you in advance!
Last night I worked my first Mad T Party. I have to say I had a blast!!! I had no idea what I was in for...the band was great, the white rabbit DJ was hot, the dance crew was pretty good, the acrobatics were amazing and the flamingos were a riot. If your curiosity hasn't gotten the better of you and you haven't checked it out you really should. I believe it's fri, sat & sun 6p-10p and I also think More...

Sorry, long post but important info: Yesterday I worked my first Carsland Fast Pass shift. It was super early in the morning but it was a wonderful change from my nightly World of Color shifts. It was fun to welcome the guests into the park and see them eager to begin their magical day. While attending to the fast pass line I had a guest ask if I had a pen (which I never do and should do) and I a More...

Question: last night I was at World of Color and after the show I was walking back to the yellow section when I passed a plaid explaining to some people that "he's with his girlfriend." As I continue walking I ask a lead if we had a celeb in VIP and she said yes and when I asked who (bec I couldn't tell who it was) she said "Zac Efron." I then notice him with his arm around his girlfriend and he's More...
BEST NIGHT EVER!!! My son is AWESOME!!! Every year we try to get him to take pictures with the storm troopers, this year he walks right up and stands between them! I'm one happy & proud Mama! (Mickey's Halloween Party tonight)
From last nights Little Monsters...top left is IASW with dancing pumpkins projected on to it. Top right is my mini spinning in the light image projected on the ground. Bottom left is the "unicorn" sucker he got at one of the treat stations. Bottom middle is the Mickey cereal treat and bottom right the "family size" bag of sour balls he got. We had a great time last night and very thankful to every More...
This is the haul from tonight's Little Monsters party. I have to say, this was my 1at time and I'm so overwhelmed over the things that were given as treats! There is an actual bag of Goofy's sour balls in here along with a Pirates sippy cup, Duffy piggy bank and unicorn sucker! Thank you to all the volunteers who put on this amazing Halloween party for the CMs children!
Mr. Disney was one of five children, four boys and a girl. He was the fourth born Disney son. He was named after his parents pastor and friend Walter Parr, a preacher at St. Paul Congregational Church. The pastor, in turn, will later name his son Elias, after Walt's father.
Most of Walt's childhood was spent on a farm in Marceline, Missouri, where he began drawing, painting and selling pictures to neighbors and family friends. In 1911, the family moved to Kansas City, where his love for trains really developed. His Uncle, Mike Martin, was a train Engineer who worked on the route between Fort Madison, Iowa, and Marceline. Walt would later work a summer job with the railroad, selling newspapers and snacks to the travelers. To read more about Walts love for trains

To watch a short biography of Walts life:
Walt and Lillian Disney with unnamed friend, London, 1935.
Walt Disney in my opinion, is a wonderful example of the American dream! He represents: imagination, optimism, creation, and self-made success in the American tradition. He brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past, it is certain, Walt Disney was a great man! He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions, which became one of the best-known motion-picture production companies in the world! Disney was an innovative animator and created the cartoon characters we all love to watch today. :) He won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of the magical playgrounds that ties us all together, Disneyland and Disney World. Had he been alive today he would be 112 years old! Happy birthday Walt! Thank you so much for believing in your dreams! You are a true inspiration.
In honor of today, it would be fun if we all mentioned our favorite quote from Mr. Disney. I'll go first, I have many, but this one always sticks out:
"I've always been interested in the past and history and I think it's vital."
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a terrific Thursday!
