Hi All- I rarely post but I really need any tips/advice that anyone may have....we will be in the parks all next week and although we've done many week long trips before, this will be the 1st time I've been in a wheelchair. I've opted for that over a scooter just because I have a husband and 16yr old who have convinced me it will be no problem to push me around (for 5days?!). Any info would be app More...

Some people are rude stopping on ramps to look at maps and such. So just remember to be patient and polite and have fun. Ask for CMs assistance. Most attractions in DL let you go through the exit but ask the CM at each for details. Also don't forget about the handicap accessible areas like the castle walk through which is on the opposite side of the castle the walk through is. Also at nemo go to the exit and ask to use the observation outpost. You will be led to a room that allows the wheelchair to go in and you see what everyone else sees but on a larger screen.
