If she has girls, tell her to bring princess dresses for them to wear around the park! Or tutus!
Two weeks ago, I was able to experience the "Pirate Boats" at Storybook ride, with some friends. If you go around 9:10-9:15pm to the exit of the ride, ask if you can go on those "Pirate boats", of course there's no guarantee they will accede. Because they are the last boats before the fireworks, they stop those boats mid-ride and you can see the fireworks while in the boat. It was a very unique perspective and neat experience :) - LaBelleParis  757.5 #196 2:14PM
Oh that's super cool! - calidream1  397.0 #478 2:18PM
It was cool, because I had never ever done it before. It was nice to see the fireworks from the boat :) - LaBelleParis  757.5 #196 2:22PM
This is awesome! I must try this! - DarthTinkerbell  77.9 #3659 2:32PM
That's funny!  We've done that once before, but I didn't realize they called it a "Pirate Boat!"  Cute!   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  508.9 #344 3:22PM

@DLKenCA: No, because you're mini beat me to it :P lol - LaBelleParis  757.5 #196 4:10PM
Oooh co- skipper! That's a "must"! I'll have to get them to ask!  - calidream1  397.0 #478 7:52PM

The Animation building is always so fun.  A lot of people go in to watch the film clips or go to Turtle Talk, but many never stumble upon the Sourcerer's Workshop, Beast's Library, or Ursula's (Lair, is it?).  Those nooks and crannies are so fun! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  508.9 #344 3:26PM
I have a 3 almost 4 year old and she loved this place! She loved the main part, they play songs and some of them have lights that "dance" on the floor, the kids seem to really love chasing them. She did not like the rest because it was all alittle scary and dark for her. The picture in the library really scared her.  - MrsGrumpy2002  203.0 #1808 3:38PM
Yea, I can understand how that might scare a child that age; however, 5 and 8 seemed to be good ages to do these things 😊 - Spoonful_O_Sugar  508.9 #344 4:05PM
I love when they show the Up Animation and the whole room fills with colors☺️ - calidream1  397.0 #478 8:19PM
My boys loved riding train behind the engineer and fireman. There are 2 seats on the engine for them. You have to ask at the main street station and must ride it all the way around. The engineer and fireman explained how the train worked too. My boys loved it. It really made them feel special.  - Bassplayerswife  131.7 #2819 6:25AM
That's sooo awesome! They would probably LOVE that!!! - calidream1  397.0 #478 6:27AM

Me three. I get car sick so I can't ride those, along with the swings in DCA. But thunder is my favorite! And it's a lit smoother now and less jerky than before - brodysmommy  327.9 #654 9:07PM
the new improved Btmrr now makes me sick :( i'll still ride, but i don't enjoy it as much. if you get sick fairly easy, I'd ride at the end of night so your day isn't ruined by sickness.  - OhanaPhoto  3012.4 #31 8:59AM

Like the double breasted jacket!  Grad Night definitely was more formal. The rumor when I went was, if a guy didn't have a coat, he'd have to go to the old Pendleton store in Frontierland to buy one, or else spend the night on the bus.  - redsoxcarlos  865.3 #169 6:04AM

A dancer in the parades! I've wanted this job for years, ever since my dance teacher told us about her experience as a choreographer for the parades. @mickeylumboCM I absolutely love the pixar play parade and my favorite role is a cowgirl on the bars!! I llove doing giants, I used to be a gymnast:) - princessvg  40.4 #4607 2:20PM
Does anyone remember when they used to recruit random guests to put on a tutu and participate in the parade? I loved that! Wish they'd bring that back. - Bo22  383.6 #494 5:30PM

Last time we used SoCal tickets purchased from our aunt who lives in SoCal (we are from NorCal) they didn't ask any questions at the gate. Unfortunately our aunt couldn't make it to the parks. We've actually purchased tickets three times this way in the past. Not sure if anything is different this time around.
Have they done this (recently) in the past?  - missmimi90  1365.4 #89 4:40PM
Not since before cars land opened.  I remember because my friend took her family for the first time and then was waiting for them to do the deal again and they never did.  Until now. - bluefairy  643.3 #249 10:13PM

Can I as a resident purchase one of these deals for an out of town friend who is visiting? Or must it be used by a resident? - Pixarprincess  539.3 #314 4:56PM
before they allowed us to bring up to 8 guests, I am trying to talk my east coast relatives to come, though they talk too much about the "commercialization of it all" so not sure if I want to go through that, lol!! - secretagentangel  1216.6 #100 6:33PM
I have a friend who has *gasp* never been! And it's expensive so this discount might get her on board to go - Pixarprincess  539.3 #314 6:51PM
The commercialization of a commercial business? Interesting. What's next will car dealerships start selling cars? - BeatleMike  511.1 #341 7:12PM

Have family visiting from Florida in March, so going to try this! - Duchess_SMK  5433.4 #14 6:44AM
So has anyone actually bought the discounted tickets this time around and used them for people who aren't Southern California residents? Do they have to show proof of residency at the gate? I have friends coming and this would be a great deal for them, but we wouldn't be going to the parks with them. - DisneyOnesie  494.4 #361 1:56PM
I think at least one person in the party needs a SoCal ID. At least, that's how it used to be. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  550.5 #303 3:22PM
Did you ever find out the answer to this? I have the same question. Thank you! - JediKitty  660.2 #237 9:22PM
Not exactly but I am pretty sure you need to be with them. But I could be wrong. - DisneyOnesie  494.4 #361 9:36PM
Looks like several people asked if a SoCal person could purchase these tickets for a non-SoCal person. Has anyone tried it yet? Do they require proof of the address at the gate? I want to take a nephew who lives in NorCal there. If it can be used by non-SoCal person, though, I have a feeling his mom would want to go. - JediKitty  660.2 #237 9:21PM
