I read about people lining up at midnight to attend Rock Your Disney Side which opens at 6am. Is there any specific reason to live up so early? This is my first 24-hr event. I was just gonna stroll in at 6:15am
*line up - Jentasmic  116.6 #3075 6:24PM
Some people do it for the experience.  Some people do it to be there 1st. And some people do it to get whatever free item they're giving away to the first thousand people or so. I'll be there at 4am because that's what I did last year and around 530am the line to get in was already long.  - thatgirljenn  764.0 #193 6:44PM
Hope to see you there!! - NintendoNerd  214.0 #1663 8:36PM
I thought yhe same thing on the Leap Year 24 hour event, got in line at 5am which was so long that when the gates opened at 6am we finally got through the gates at 8am!  - hanfordrob  4.5 #17294 6:45PM
That's strange, because I timed it to arrive when the structure opened at 5, it was late, trammed in and got in the long security line.  Got into the parks sometime after 6, waited for a locker, and still got a picture of myself by star tours that posted a time before 7am.  ๐Ÿ˜ - bluefairy  643.3 #249 8:47PM

Headed to Disneyland w/out the boyfriend to do some shopping before we head home. Looking for suggestions on what I should eat/drink for my late lunch/early dinner. (Adult beverages appreciated) thanks!
If you will be at California Adventure then I recommend the Cove Bar for Lobster Nachos and lots of different adult beverages to choose from! Enjoy! - MyHeartbelongstoBeast  276.6 #940 1:47PM
Cove Bar also has awesome pizza and sliders. - debbiev  752.4 #199 2:50PM
Cove is good for drinks and the sliders are good. Trader Sams is good for drinks too and food is ok. Carthay lounge probably has the best food and good drinks but it's pricier. There is also the Al Fresco lounge which a lot of MWers seem to enjoy.  - missmimi90  1365.4 #89 3:18PM

Anyone doing a locker RAK today? We'll be at DL from 8am-11am today. And we'll be back rom 6pm-close. We have this Mickey water bottle and Tink 2011 pin. The pin is supposed to only be available to Disney Visa card holders,it's kept behind the counter. I'll check throughout the day to see if anyone is interested.
Very nice! - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz  1021.9 #140 7:55AM

So we check into the DH late last night and this morning while we're getting ready for DCA, my boyfriend's daughter's tooth falls out! I wonder what kind of loot the tooth fairy brings to the DH??? Does Disney have a vinylmation or pin for this occasion?!
How exciting! You should stop by the guest services desk and ask if they can do anything magical for her! Ask if Kevin M. is working, he is pretty amazing! - MissSwann  278.6 #926 5:21PM
They have a vinyl with a jr that is part of the occupations series... its a surg green color with a tooth on it! :) I work in oral surg so I had to have that one! :) - LoveDland  319.5 #694 5:35PM
Dang even the tooth fairy is expensive at DLR!!! Congras!!! - Katrayher  764.5 #192 11:04PM
Dang if I pull a tooth while at DH will you be my tooth fairy? - NeverlandTink  422.5 #439 11:05PM

Has anyone used the Disney PhotoPass and is it worth the money? Can anyone chime in with the pros and cons? Thank-you
There are tips somewhere. Claim to order the DVD if u have enough pics. My folks ordered one, came out nice. - RyanTark  8.7 #9731 8:28PM
I use it all the time. I think it's worth doing. At the end of every trip we buy the cd. I tend to take a ton of pics at Disneyland. Especially when I'm with my mom. Plus the photopass CM's take way better pics than I do. - Krismiss  304.9 #766 8:31PM
We used it last trip and was totally worth it. Cost us about $70 to buy the cd and we got great pics from the CM's and they even included bonus pics of the characters in the parks at no extra cost! - ChipnDalefan  13.6 #7530 8:50PM
I was offered the opportunity to pre-purchase the CD for $100.00(supposedly $50.00 off park price). For anyone, was it cheaper to purchase at park? - Jentasmic  116.6 #3075 8:56PM
