That's a bummer about the closures but I'd rather miss out on a few attractions due to closures then to have myself or cast members injured. I would give anything to be at Disney even if all of my favorites were closed. we made the decision to build a house and unfortunately Disneyland is not in our future for a long time!

There is so much to do at Disneyland folks. These couple of closures aren't going to affect your visits oh so terribly. Would you rather be riding one of the Main Street vehicles and a wheel pop off like at Knotts. Or be stuck on a ride for three hours way up in the air, again at Knotts. Unfortunately, issues like this do happen. Many arriving guests will be upset due to 2 very popular rides being closed, but complaining wont make this situation move along any faster. I would rather support the Disney company in their efforts to make sure all safety issues are fixed rather than being afraid to ride the attraction due to the lack of safety. Just sit tight, guys. Glad to see SOC is opened again. I read the entire OSHA citation and SOC is not mentioned, only SM. Any idea what the violation on SOC was? I have friends that work for DLRFD, from what they tell me about their jobs the monitoring fire prevention systems is a key part of their jobs so I'm a little surprised about the fire extinguisher violations. - Firelt 220.9 #1349 7:41AM
