Took my son to see Disney On Ice tonight and scored from row seats!!! It was amazing! I wish i had one of the awesome MW photographers because most of my pictures came out blurry or washed out. Im not very iphone camera savvy :( Anywho Princess Tiana, Cinderella and Rapunzel were the main 3 but at the end all of the princesses and their princes came out! Not sure if anyone wanted to see any pict More...
Since there has been a few proposals lately and mostly because I am curious... Where and how did your spouse propose? Did you know it was coming? My husband proposed during his deployment party at Toby Keith's Bar and Grill. I totally didn't expect it because we were at Disneyland 2 weeks before and I figured if he was going to do it, it would have been there. Instead he waited to be with my fami More...
😫😪 After seeing the posts about the peppermint ice cream, new maps, the parade and the biggest one is the new cozy cone cups! I'm wishing we would have stayed an extra day at Disneyland. BIG bummer! Wonder if I can convince my
Husband to turn the car around?!?
Well today is the day! We must head back to Arizona. Thank you so much to all of the MouseWaiters that we were lucky enough to meet/see again this trip. We had a great time riding TOT and Pirates with you. Getting to see the new DCA and especially Cars Land was so much better then I had expected! We decided to see if what we heard about Earl of Sandwich was true and I agree with everyone, It is d More...
This may be a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyways! Is it normal for you guys to have a 30 degree drop in temp in 1 week? I saw today it says that it's 92 but the estimated high for Friday is only 63. I'm trying to pack for our trip next weekend but not sure what to bring. Any help would be appreciated!
Howdy! I searched but couldn't find any info on renting a wheelchair at Disneyland. (There's a very good chance that I didn't search right). Anyways, do they require you to have a doctors note to rent? Also, is the pass from City Hall for anyone with a wheelchair only? Or would I be eligible if I decide to tough it without the wheelchair? I apologize if this gets asked all of the time and tha More...
Mr. Disney was one of five children, four boys and a girl. He was the fourth born Disney son. He was named after his parents pastor and friend Walter Parr, a preacher at St. Paul Congregational Church. The pastor, in turn, will later name his son Elias, after Walt's father.
Most of Walt's childhood was spent on a farm in Marceline, Missouri, where he began drawing, painting and selling pictures to neighbors and family friends. In 1911, the family moved to Kansas City, where his love for trains really developed. His Uncle, Mike Martin, was a train Engineer who worked on the route between Fort Madison, Iowa, and Marceline. Walt would later work a summer job with the railroad, selling newspapers and snacks to the travelers. To read more about Walts love for trains

To watch a short biography of Walts life:
Walt and Lillian Disney with unnamed friend, London, 1935.
Walt Disney in my opinion, is a wonderful example of the American dream! He represents: imagination, optimism, creation, and self-made success in the American tradition. He brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past, it is certain, Walt Disney was a great man! He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions, which became one of the best-known motion-picture production companies in the world! Disney was an innovative animator and created the cartoon characters we all love to watch today. :) He won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of the magical playgrounds that ties us all together, Disneyland and Disney World. Had he been alive today he would be 112 years old! Happy birthday Walt! Thank you so much for believing in your dreams! You are a true inspiration.
In honor of today, it would be fun if we all mentioned our favorite quote from Mr. Disney. I'll go first, I have many, but this one always sticks out:
"I've always been interested in the past and history and I think it's vital."
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a terrific Thursday!
