went on ST one more time and i must say, even though I've never seen Star Wars (i know, blasphemy) the ride is still just so much fun! especially when the whole audience gets into it too. had an awesome day and sadly heading home. no fireworks for me tonight. maybe in my rearview mirror.
good morning everyone! ok i have a quick question. I am going to the park tomorrow for the rope drop and to get on ST. what is the best time to get there to kinda get to the front of the rope drop? ive never seen it before so im excited lol.
not sure how many would appreciate this story but i thought it was pretty funny. i asked my little brothers (13 and 11 yrs old) if they liked disney and they both said no...so i started listing off disney movies and asked them if they liked them and every single movie they said yes. at the end of my questioning i said "HA those are all disney movies" they were shocked lol but i knew i couldnt More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
