How busy does everyone think the park will be tomorrow?

Holiday weekend. Tremendously busy prediction for me - E-Ticket  1796.0 #116 7:41PM

very busy and take into consideration that with all of the refurbs, wait times will be longer than usual. - luxkitty  5953.2 #26 8:25PM

Anyone at the park today battling the rainy weather?

Check the roll call later their is usually some MWers there if you want to meet up with someone. - Jackie211  483.3 #518 9:24AM
I'm sure lots of MWers will be there--most of us don't battle the rain at DL, though: we embrace it! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  719.1 #335 9:26AM

With those of you with Disney vacation club... is it worth it? What are some vacations you were able to go on with it?

Admin's a member. I am too. So far no big trips, but it's nice to stay at the Grand and have no bill when you leave :) Thinking about doing a Caribbean cruise in a couple of years. I think it's worth it - CaliCanuck  534.4 #465 4:31PM
was thinking about doing it but the hubby says its not worth it, he would much rather just save the money and go when we can afford to - diznymommy84  215.9 #1951 4:32PM
The thing with the DVC is you have to be a planner. The number of points you buy will determine how many times you can stay/use them for a holiday. Also they have to be used up or you lose them. You can only bank one year at a time, so you could save up for a "big trip" - CaliCanuck  534.4 #465 4:38PM
We love it! But we like to go to Disney a lot, if you don't or it'll get old i wouldn't bother as the best value for your points is by staying at dvc properties. Also do.not forget you'll have annual dues to pay as well. - Krissy Marissy  411.2 #633 4:46PM

What's up with the crowd index at DL? Is the 4th always like this, with hardly anyone at the parks? ๎

Seriously... kinda makes me feel like going - TikiJOSEsWingman  332.4 #855 11:43AM
Nope. It used to be one of the worse times to go. - TheRealEvilQueen  25.1 #7191 11:46AM
Agreed with the blocked out AP's, crowds are low. Some CM's I've talked to have been surprised how slow it has been. Should there be more single/multiple day ticket holders than AP's? - 5Disney5  8.6 #13775 12:15PM
We were there from the 6th through 13 th of June. It was crazy busy the whole time! This is really nice even if only for a while. Need to keep this in mind for next year. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  128.6 #3259 12:19PM

What is the one thing that you all think is a must to do at DL/DCA that most people overlook or don't know about? Can't wait to hear your responses, because I am sure I overlook a lot of cool stuff!!!

To take your time, look around, and enjoy the beauty and landscaping of the parks... Especially in Storybook Land. - DoleWhipComa  17.0 #8915 5:29AM

I believe they use dye. Dave would know! Ask Dave!! - CMsMom  446.7 #581 4:49PM

So we are planning a trip for my son's bday and was wanting to see if anyone had any suggestions on a hotel to stay at...Disney hotels arethe first choice but they are a bit pricey. :) Thx in advance for the help!!!

We just stayed at Castle Inn and Suites. Walk was manageable.. Did it with huge sitnstand stroller and my 4 yo walked one day! Rooms were reasonably priced and clean... but economy motel compared to Disney! No frills! We do not spend much time in hotel so could be a way for you to save money. We would stay there again! - Disney Jen  168.2 #2609 4:47PM
I have heard a number of great reviews of the Candy Cane Inn from the MW Family. - proudcanuck  478.6 #527 4:54PM
Just stayed at Fairfield inn by marriot but the camalot in is also good and better priced - SarahInWonderland  42.9 #5526 10:54PM
Best Western Stovall Inn was a fantastic choice, good prices and very friendly staff. Short walk to the parks too. - Keyblademaster  0.1 #108020 11:25PM
