Anyone do the AP early entry this past Saturday? How was the line for RSR? Gonna do it this Saturday and Sunday.

My daughter and I were. They did not do the normal "rope walk" to Carsland. We headed straight there. The cue was full but we literally did not stop walking through the line until we got through all 3 garages. Took about 20/25 minutes at that point. Overall, it took 30 minutes to get in to the park, wait and ride. We then walked on to TSMM (loved that only 2nd time ever to walk on) grabbed a morning snack and headed to Disneyland. Definitely a lot more people than the other Early Entry we did but still worth it IMO. - ElectricMayhemMom 310.6 #556 10:59AM

My son is 40 1/2" with his shoes on. We are oping he is able to get on RSR. If not we know that is only for his safety. Any parents ever been forced to take their children's shoes off for a ride?

Not all CMs are created equally. We verified that Cannon could ride RSR with the CM at the stick, went back to leave the baby with family and got him all hyped up to go and they shift changed and the new CM was pushing his head down with her fingers. I was livid. He would stand there, hit the bar and she would slide her fingers back and say he was a half inch short. At 40 and a half, he should be just as tall as to top end of the measure sticks, you won't have a problem. - cynDOLEwhip 744.1 #137 10:32PM

That sucks! Similar thing happened with my 4 y/o a yr ago for TOT my husband was taking him measure at the gate and was fine but when they are literally about to board the elevator the CM was kinda rude (from what i gathered) measured and didnt let him on, after he had been on almost all other big rides :/ oh well. It's safety which I totally understand but it was a very awkward and frustrating experience. Even the other CM at the front saw that he was good to go but I think she was training him and used us as a (bad) example of how important it is. Anyone use Priceline to get their rooms for DL?.. They have a good deal going for this weekend but the hotels (3 1/2 stars) are on the east side of the park and the other side of the 5.

We've had great experiences with Priceline around DL and in other areas. Convention Center Hilton, both Holiday Inns, and Marriott Suites are a few examples of hotels we've been placed at for under $50/night. Some do charge for parking, but that charge doesn't bother us. The only one we were a little unhappy with was the Travel Lodge a few years ago, but we entered a low ball price of $30/night on a whim, not thinking we'd actually get it, lol.
