Hello everyone I have a question, how and what would one need to become a Walt Disney Imagineer. I have tried google but no such luck . I do not want to hear its "almost impossible or gonna be hard". I already know this, but it has been my dream and I believe anything is possible if you put your heart and mind in it. Also a little hint of pixie dust does not hurt. :)
I think your best bet is to have a degree in engineering and drawing and start at an entry level position with Disney and work your way there. I could be wrong though. - dlmickeymouseCM

I've heard that if you get a Mechanical Engineering degree, it's easier to get a job as an Imagineer because not many people apply to Disney with that career. But I'm not positive, I've just heard this from different people. - JoeDownTheRabbitHole

Yeah, I'd say mechanical engineer and architectural design - dlmickeymouseCM 2382.5 #27 9:02PM
Thank you JoeDownTheRabbitHole, I will make sure to keep that info. :) - MrStitch 125.9 #2682 9:03PM
You're welcome! Also people have told me that if your an ME major, it really helps you in the work force because you will learn a little about a whole lot. It opens up a lot of doors that way. Since you know a little about a lot, you can almost pick your profession. My dream is to work for Disney as an Imagineer too, but I want to be more of a Project/Systems Engineer and the best way to do that is to be an ME major. Good luck with everything! - JoeDownTheRabbitHole 395.9 #341 9:12PM
Well I wish you the best on doing that Joe. Never give up. :) - MrStitch 125.9 #2682 9:15PM
Steve Davison (the father of RDCT and WoC), from Walt Disney Creative entertainment (branch of imagineering) says art and theater helps alot! - DonaldMissingPants
