Hello everyone I have a question, how and what would one need to become a Walt Disney Imagineer. I have tried google but no such luck . I do not want to hear its "almost impossible or gonna be hard". I already know this, but it has been my dream and I believe anything is possible if you put your heart and mind in it. Also a little hint of pixie dust does not hurt. :)

I think your best bet is to have a degree in engineering and drawing and start at an entry level position with Disney and work your way there. I could be wrong though. - dlmickeymouseCM  2405.8 #57 8:56PM
Thank you. :) - MrStitch  125.9 #3073 8:59PM
I've heard that if you get a Mechanical Engineering degree, it's easier to get a job as an Imagineer because not many people apply to Disney with that career. But I'm not positive, I've just heard this from different people. - JoeDownTheRabbitHole  400.3 #544 8:58PM
Yeah, I'd say mechanical engineer and architectural design - dlmickeymouseCM  2405.8 #57 9:02PM
Thank you JoeDownTheRabbitHole, I will make sure to keep that info. :) - MrStitch  125.9 #3073 9:03PM
You're welcome! Also people have told me that if your an ME major, it really helps you in the work force because you will learn a little about a whole lot. It opens up a lot of doors that way. Since you know a little about a lot, you can almost pick your profession. My dream is to work for Disney as an Imagineer too, but I want to be more of a Project/Systems Engineer and the best way to do that is to be an ME major. Good luck with everything! - JoeDownTheRabbitHole  400.3 #544 9:12PM
Well I wish you the best on doing that Joe. Never give up. :) - MrStitch  125.9 #3073 9:15PM
Steve Davison (the father of RDCT and WoC), from Walt Disney Creative entertainment (branch of imagineering) says art and theater helps alot! - DonaldMissingPants  302.8 #871 12:56AM
Oh perfect topic. I've thought the same thing cuz I want in too. I've learned that u do need n engineering degree n depending on what u want to do exactly, expand on it. If u want to learn more u can contact me. Idk of there is a direct message on here...? - spideymickey  188.6 #2108 1:23AM
