Such a great person and so down to earth! Thanks for a great evening!
It really is amazing how down to earth the Disney Legends are. I met him at D23 and personally thanked him for Epcot and had a little chat with him about the park. - CM_Shadowgamer  2334.3 #46 12:14AM

Last night at the Build A Bear store ( DTD) this lady picks up the entire stock of Toothless dragons and hoards them! (#12) the store allows you to buy 3. My kids looked at her and wanted one! She said she's waiting for her friends to come so they can buy them all! This is so wrong! I took a picture of her and wanted to post it but wasn't sure if it's appropriate? Is it? The Employee had to remove  More...
No, not appropriate to do here. No complaining in the lounge. Best just to tell store manager. Maybe she had a kids birthday party arriving, sorry you didn't get one. - ShariRenee  4071.3 #22 10:29AM
I'd like to see it, but it would probably get removed, lol.  Too bad that happens: wish people would be less selfish.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  526.8 #336 10:34AM
I know it's really frustrating to see adults be so selfish when it comes to kids toys. When I saw adults hoarding "Frozen "merchandise (before there was a limit) I would tell the store CM. The CM's are well trained. Back when "Oz The Great and Powerful" came out, two ladies got into a physical altercation at the WOW store over the last China Doll in front of children. Adults need get a grip.ย  - DeadliestPassholder  191.8 #1957 10:47AM
Yes, some people take the "I'm a child at heart" idea much too literally.  There are instances when adults just plain need to act like adults.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  526.8 #336 11:09AM

Teacher , teacher..ugh! I'm ready to utilize one of my sick days to play in the parks!!! Only 15 days into the school year, and I'm already counting down to Thanksgiving ! Anyone else?
It's really been that kind of year already, hasn't it?  A few of my small friends have been acting out, but for me the poorly written/non-compliant IEPs several transfer students' prior schools have bestowed upon me this week are what have me shaking my fists in the air and counting the days until my Thanksgiving DL trip! - Smackerel  230.8 #1459 12:19AM
I feel for students and teachers lately.  My parents were teachers, and I spent some time in college working on a credential but soon realized I wasn't cut out to work in the CA school system. The system just doesn't look like it's conducive to much learning or exploration for anyone.  Memorize, memorize...standardized tests..."proficiency" (who decides what that is, anyway?)...no wonder kids act out and teachers get bored.  Who cares if you can pick out the definition of a metaphor on a multiple choice test if you can't actually write one that makes logical sense?  What kind of future society are we creating with all this?  Kudos to all of you for the work that you do every day and the stuff you must struggle with. ๐Ÿ’– - Spoonful_O_Sugar  526.8 #336 8:33AM

AP pass holder question: Have you ever noticed the difference between crowds of non blackout days compared to those Days when all passes are blocked except premium ?
Yes, far less crowds on days where only premium can go (disregarding days like 4th of July and New Years Eve.) - dethrizu  192.5 #1948 11:03PM
4th of July was great this year. Short lines! Only fireworks was crowded on Main St.  - JenGwen323  1118.0 #123 11:10PM
Saturdays are great.  - JenGwen323  1118.0 #123 11:11PM
Yes.  We took a trip during Christmastime that coincided with Deluxe blockouts, and it was noticeably lighter the next day.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  526.8 #336 11:28PM
No, we go on Saturdays mainly for day trips and it is always crowded. - Lelundrial  461.2 #396 8:44AM

July 6th was an incredible day at both parks! Weather was perfect and the very light crowds were awesome! Radiator racers under 45 minute wait , Space was like 30 minute waits, and majority of attractions were nearly walk on. Jungle cruise our family of 4 had our own boat and went around 3x without getting out. (No lines) entire day/night justified my family shelling out $2,800 for annual passes.
No we've had our passes for 10 years and counting. Past 4 years with our 2 rug rats which has made our visits more special! Amazing how wonderful our visits are now with kids, 2 boys!  - snappy  312.5 #725 7:27PM

Back in the day when Disneyland was a once a year treat it was the most exciting buildup to actually going ! I would be so excited I think it warped my brain! Question? Now as a parent of 2 great boys (4&2) we go to the parks nearly 2x a week! Sometimes I feel like we have cheated them out of the anticipation of going to Disneyland. Any thoughts? We thought of cutting down our visits, but shelling  More...
Definitely do different things each visit. And since you're not rushing around like a tourist,  teach them to keep their eyes out for ways they can do random acts of kindness -- take someone's family photo, let someone ahead of them in line when they arrived at the same time, pick up trash, give away fast passes.... - Taunton  120.9 #3008 11:22PM
Great suggestions!  - Duchess_SMK  5617.3 #14 6:20AM
I think you're very fortunate to be able to go and enjoy the parks so often.  You're making great memories with your family in a beautiful, clean, fun, imaginative  place. You're experiencing exactly what Walt Disney wanted for your family. There will be plenty of other opportunities for your kids to anticipate fun activities and trips. Don't over think this and just enjoy it! - DisneyGrandma  683.1 #236 11:03PM
Great advise DG! I agree!  - Duchess_SMK  5617.3 #14 6:20AM

Disneyland hotel parking question! Monday night, does the attendant leave the gate at a particular time?
Are you trying to sneakIn? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I hope you make it - philliprocks  835.7 #179 9:37PM
Not sneak in, sneak out.. My 4 year old tossed out ticket!! Ugh!  - snappy  312.5 #725 9:46PM
The Hotel is normally there 24x7 because of hotel guests. I tried to get in for a pin event at 3am and there was a guard there.  Are you staying at the hotel?  If so, you should be ok.  If you ate there, save the receipt, show the attendant and see if they take pity on you. I have got past a few attendants with receipts. You can also ask to talk to a lead to see what they can do. I think it's $57 max daily, which would be absurd. - DLKenCA  1514.4 #82 9:59PM
