So I walk into am/pm and the line is enormous. When I walk up to the guy at the end I ask him ?Is this the line for the Matterhorn?" He laughs says ?We were just there." So we start talking Disney. I asked if he had a smart phone and proceeded to tell him about MouseWait. So hopefully they'll be some new members soon. I wish I got on here more, but hey,I'm still representing. ;)
So I asked the forces that be for a raise so I could keep my happiness alive for another year, but it's not looking like they're in no big hurry to do so. That said we will not be renewing our passes and Saturday will be our last day playing in the park for an undetermined time. So if you have an inkling to have some Evil in your life, come on down to the park and get into shenanigans with the Mrs More...
I'd like to say a big Thank You to all that attended the MouseWait reunion and other events this weekend. You are what keeps this app exciting and new. Also a big round of applause to the Event Staff for making everything move so efficiently. Last but not least, Thank You Admin for creating and overseeing this wonderful app. Let's see what we can do by Birthday time to help make it even more of a More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
