SO, I have an odd question for any mousewait trivia fans... (and I'm asking because I want to know, not because I actually already know!). How many steps are there in Tarzan's tree house?! I've tried looking it up on google and searching everywhere, but can't seem to find it! I would have counted yesterday when I was going up/down the 3 times that we did, but I was too busy wrangling m More...
Uh oh. Just hopped on here to take a peek around and didn't realize the 1/2 marathon was next weekend. We're planning to go Saturday for a visit to the parks... might be a tad more crowded than we expected... :)
Hey everyone!! I'm not sure if this is helpful or not and it's sorta secondhand info, but disney scoop online just said that the park is at capacity and not admitting any more guests right now? Can anyone in park verify to help out the people on the way? :)
Getting that crazy urge to go to DL on Christmas eve. I've looked up the past info on the search tab here on MW, but I can't help myself from asking the standard new person question even though I've been on here for a few years! Anyone been to DL on the 24th?! Would you do it again? :) We're thinking a quick evening trip from like 6 to close... :)
Hey Mousewaiters! I don't know if I'm being blonde or just having a long day... I can't seem to find when the holiday decor comes down for Halloween (meaning, will that big ole pumpkin still be there this weekend?!). :) And does anyone know the date that the park "switches over" to Christmas?! :) I know the Haunted Mansion stays as is into January and that parts of NOS are decorated, b More...
Has anyone who frequents the Hojo watched the fireworks from a park view room? How much of the fireworks can you see? :) We're staying there on the 4th of July and my daughter doesn't like the fireworks up close... so we got a room facing the park at the Hojo and plan to watch as much as we can from our room! I just wanted to ask if anyone had done this yet because as we get closer to July 4, I More...
Stitch hat!! Love this! $24.95 before AP discount (found it at star trader). I don't usually post purchases but we were asked about it 5 or 6 times in a couple hours! Not live but from earlier today ;)
I have a random opinion question for MWers! My husband actually wanted to to post this to get other disney fan (with kids) opinions! I'm a fan of tattoos and we both have some, and disney tats are even better. But today while standing in line, my 5 year old noticed a tattoo on a gentleman in front of us in line of Mickey (a little zombie-d out with fangs and claws) holding a butcher knife dripping More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
