Love affair with Disneyland started when I was 4 - never looked back. :) I'm from the Bay Area originally - moved to SoCal to get my Master's and went to Disneyland every Sunday for 2 years. Now I'm back in the Bay - but I still go every few months!

Yeah, so...not really sure how I'm going o get ANY work done today knowing I'm starting the drive to DL at 3:30...focus...focus...focus...OOH, CHURRO!! :)

This is from the time Space was being built, you can see it incomplete in the background. The rockets were a awesome attraction, the anticipation of riding a lift just like a real astronaut. then you board your space craft and go higher then anyone else. - GoofyJoe

Counting down the hours until I drive to DL tomorrow after work...soooo excited! Here's another cool vintage photo my Mom took in the 70s. Man, I wish I had been able to see Skull Rock before they removed it - loooooove Peter Pan!!
