Here is a video of one of the many jam sessions last night. The guy in the yellow long sleeve shirt, Jofflyn, and the girl he is dancing with in the green jacket, Amber, are friends of mine. There's a part in their dance where they bear hug each other, shake back and forth and Amber raises her leg on Jofflyn. This was paying tribute to a couple that started dancing here in the 50's, every weekend, More...

I remember going up the spiral ramp, near Space Mountain, and the green army guys from Toy story came out. But back then they looked more like the green army men action figures that stand bc their shoes where connected to a green base (think snowboard) so they had to swing their bodies to get around. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint

Has anyone done the VIP Fantasmic package and what's ur opinion on it. Is the price worth it for better view? Thanks!!!
We have done it several times. The view is not the reason to do it, sitting in a chair being waited on hand and foot is the reason to do it... I can't sit on the ground for 2-3 hours saving a spot only to be pushed in on at show time. .. - garrlusdland

What's everyones favorite "hidden gem" at the parks? It could be a restaurant, souvenirs, vinyls or anything not everyone knows about.

There is a little square with seating between Aladdin's Oasis and the Jungle Cruise exit that is almost always empty and quiet. It's a great place to enjoy a Dole Whip!!! If I find a bunch of people in there now I'll know they are MWers! - Boundin

found a really neat thing today....if you stand by the exit ramp for innoventions, near the jedi training stage, you will see a half circle on the cement and a circle in the center of it. stand there and talk normally. you can hear your echo as if you were talking into a Mic wearing headphones. a cm told me about it. its sooo cool.
That sounds pretty cool! I'll have to check it out next time. - jodykatin

It's days like these that make me happy to be a part of something so special like MouseWait. I spent the entire day with a couple from Arizona that I had never spoken to before in my life but had one thing in common -- Mouswait. I'd like to thank Vince/captainjacksparrow & Michelle/sweetnerdiheartmickey for allowing me to tag-along all day instead of being with family (non-MWers). Besides losing L More...

Good morning! This day in Disney history, August 24th, 1914. Lieutenant Harry Colebourn (a Veterinary Officer) stops at White River Ontario, Canada, on his way to fight the ongoing war in Europe. There he purchases a small black female Canadian bear cub (for $20) & names her Winnie, after his home town of Winnipeg. In October, his regiment will be sent to England (& ultimately France) & Colebourn More...
That's interesting to hear that Winnie The Pooh was an actual bear. Just shows that inspiration can come from anywhere. - ScooterMike
