When you want to upgrade your day ticket to an annual pass, do you have to turn in the original day ticket?

IMO it would be crazy to not get a hotel room. If you are planning on going I'd suggest getting a hotel room soon because everything will be filled up. - ekwhite

As much as I would have loved to stay on property, I agree with Ms.M and ScubaSteve. We stayed offsite and saved our money for the parks. We plan on going back this year and will probably look into getting a vacation house or condo. Enjoy! - LBChica

We stayed at the Contemporary because we had 5 people in our room. The room was huge and 5 adults fit easily. We loved using the monorail as the bus can get kind of old. California Grill at the top of the hotel is delicious and a great place to watch the fireworks! - ilovemickey8

Be patient. The park may reach capacity at noon but open back up at a later time. When I went I got there at 4 ish and had no problem. A lot of people end up leaving because it's so crowded but once your in don't leave just incase they do reach cap. Also DCA is always less crowded than Disneyland. And if you want a spot infront of the castle for the fireworks get there early. - MissErikaRae_CM
