Okay, so earlier today just before Disneyland had closed Matt and I were in line for Peter Pan. While in line, a young girl(about 11 or 12) was talking to her mom and gestured to my lanyard filled with pins. I then chimed in and told her more about pin trading and could tell she was interested in pins more than she was sharing with her mom. I then went through my traders and picked a duplicate mic More...
One of my dear friends that is a CM pointed out in the Sorcerer's Workshop this hidden gem. If you look closely on the wall on the left you will see these and it spells out Walt & Roy. Just had to share :)
Hi everyone! Its been a while since I've been on. Tomorrow the Day Camp I work for is going to Disneyland! I'm so excited because this year I finally get to have the older age group. They are so excited and keep begging me for more trivia. So share with me one of your favorite facts or memories :) Thank you :)
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
