My hubby and I really enjoyed the Carsland preview this morning. The details are amazing and I think the Imagineers went above and beyond what this land would be. These flowers are some of my favorite details...love them!

Happy Saturday! Hubby and I were at the Blue Sky Cellar last night and I wanted to share that the short film about Carsland is so amazing! I was getting teary eyed seeing the dedication and passion that the Imagineers put into this project. If you haven't gone in to see it yet, definitely go!!!

Went to the parks with my mom again and she rode the Haunted Mansion for the first time and I treated her to a bumblebee cupcake. This is her on the horse drawn trolley. It was a very nice day and she also got a fresh loaf of Boudin bread - yum!
I treasure the days I can spend with her...she will be 85 in a couple months and is still grieving over the death of my dad last year. Disney has been a nice distraction from daily life. Thanks everyone for your kind comments :o) - SoCalJean

I had to share this pic of my mom riding the carosel at DCA this afternoon. She is 84 and insisted on sitting on the moving creatures! Gotta love her enthusiasm!!!
