Picture request. Can someone in the park post a picture of the star tours mural above the buzz attraction? I just got my framed poster of the mural it replaced and can't for the life of me picture what is there now??
I've been wondering this for a while and hope someone can answer. I know DL donates all the change from Snow Whites wishing well to charity. What happens to all the change people throw in the water in say BTMRR or RSR. How often does DL staff clean out the change and where does it all go? Charity? Employee Christmas parties?? Paying licensing rights to the Great Flanneled One to keep Star Tours?
Wondering of I could make a picture request for a Sailor stuck in Afghan land missing Disneyland. If anyone is in TOmorrowland today could you post a picture of the little rocketeer figure that turns the popcorn wheel? Thanks. Much appreciated.
I know a frequent topic and post in the lounge is fellow MW'ers thinking about Disney tattoos. I just wanted to share a website to maybe help some people get ideas about what they should get. Have a great day everyone. http://disneyink.tumblr.com/
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
