Me and the hubby (jungleVIP) are disney addicts! We only make it to the park a couple of times a year, but we take it by storm when we do get to go. I also have a blog about doing Disneyland on a budget: themagicisfree.wordpress.com

Please add me:)My secret is that I found the best man on the planet and now I make him spoil me. Not really. But I try to follow the sage advice of my mother and "keep a pair of rose colored glasses in my nightstand, but make sure I'm wearing a good set of contacts when looking at the rest of the world." I love a good eating tour of Disneyland. Fried chicken is delicious, but white water snacks has a chicken pesto sandwich, which while not necessarily healthy, is still a better alternative. Paradise Garden grill has chicken skewers. Boardwalk pizza and pasta has salads, I have them make mine fresh with dressing on the side (otherwise it's way too much). Flo's has a citrus chicken salad that is very good.  - ShariRenee  3415.1 #24 11:38AM
There is a delicious Greek salad at paradise grill that I don think is too bad calorie wise. It's Greek, and there isn't much cheese. Check it out, it's one of my faves! - AdeVonSchweetz  298.5 #780 3:38PM
I love a good eating tour of Disneyland. Fried chicken is delicious, but white water snacks has a chicken pesto sandwich, which while not necessarily healthy, is still a better alternative. If you're craving something sweet, it might be good to hit up Jamba Juice in dtd. There's lots of ways to trick your mind into being full at that place. Also, keep in mind that with any topping/condiment, etc., you tend to use 3-4 times as much if you pour it on vs. dip it in. For instance: if chocolate covered pineapple is your vice, see if you can get a small side if chocolate sauce and then dip one of the fresh pineapple spears. You cut way back on the amount of carbs you get this way. And while there is no known substitute for Coca Cola, I almost always keep a mio in my purse, because I'm so much more likely to order water if I know I can make it taste like pomegranate lemonade. Look at menus ahead of time (if you even need to) and figure out how much the things you hope you'll eat while you're there will cost. Put that amount on a gift card, and that will force you to say no to the million snack carts you'll pass. And if all else fails, keep some peppermints in your purse. When you start craving whatever disney is pumping through the smellitzer, pop one in. It'll help you decide if you're actually hungry or just being tricked by the mouse. Yeesh, that was a long-winded answer. I'll shut up now. - LittleAprilShowers  547.3 #288 4:03PM
