Heard there was a suspicious package that was found... Must be legitimate because the SUV came through & they evacuated all the way to harbor. I know the dogs were out earlier

Last night on the late news, there was a story saying no fireworks for a while. A CM WAS hurt (they might lose their hearing) from a miss fire. Very sad to know someone could be permenatly hurt from that.

The Aladdin show now has some type of hydraulic lift carpet that comes from the floor and moves side to side. We will all miss the high wire act. - CptKirk 697.0 #142 10:23AM

It's absolutely horrifying that these accidents had to happen in the first place. But at least now all safety measures can be re-evaluated to make sure things like this never happen again. Yeah we may lose some excitement in a show here or there but providing for the safety of everyone in the long run is far worth missing out. These accidents could have had far worse outcomes and both CM's are very lucky in both instances to have walked away with what little injuries they did receive. It's sad that we learn best form someone's misfortune but at least newer and better precautions will be in place now so everyone guests and CM's can enjoy the shows. - Cinderellamomma 293.5 #652 10:47AM
