I just deleted a lot of rude comments on a post that was obviously made with good intentions from a member who has a history of posting Disney related things. This is unacceptable and it needs to stop ASAP. It is ok to joke around with people you already know in the Lounge, but it isn't ok to post sarcastic comments about other people's picture quality or content they post. People like to read com More...
So lately the lounge has been filled with controversy. New people feeling they are being attacked. People wanting to defend others. Old schoolers wanting it like it use to be. Look, this is an app that was created by a man, built up by its founding members, and a growing organism that is expanding by leaps and bounds. It is open to all and no one is made to stay or go. From my understanding there More...
I am rather new here but I have made it to level ten and I have learned a few things along the way. My first few visits did not go well but I decided to stick it out and see if I could fit in. I am no Mouse Wait expert, but here is what I figured out to help get through the first few weeks. I hope this helps other newbies. 1: Never post a picture. Way to risky. 2: Never post a roll call. #TIP RAINY DAY TIPS POST: Lets create a post with everyone's tips for rainy days! We have had a lot of great tips so far in the Lounge, but lets get them all on one post so we can easily bring it back on rainy days.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
