Hello all. I have replied to some posts, but I am very new to MW. I really love how everyone is so polite here. Quick background about me; I never grew up with DL. My wife introduced me back in 2003. Ever since, we make at least one trip a year. She also introduced me to this app. :)
Hello all. I never grew up with Disneyland when I was young. I was introduced to it by my girlfriend (now my wife) back in 2001. Ever since that first trip I have always loved Pirates. I love my wife and I love DL and have been designing a tattoo based on the POTC ride. Specifically the skull before the first dark drop. Does anyone else else have a POTC tattoo they want to share? A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
