I think Disney does ok handling the strollers. I don't have kids but Disney has special stroller parking for those with kids/strollers and the don't allow strollers above a certain girth into the park. Lol, DFZ! Strollers are a touchy subject, and it's clear there's wrongdoings on both sides of the issue! It's true that some people jump in front of strollers, but it's also true that some people practice offensive stroller driving and put their child out in harm's way. These people do the same thing with grocery carts and SUVs. The worst case I saw was someone using one of those flatbed strollers that attach to the back of a bicycle, but the guy had left the big hook on the front of the stroller and was pushing it through the fireworks crowd from Tomorrowland through the Hub. He HAS to be game! It's for the kid so use that. His joy can come from the happiness of your son, not necessarily his feeling about the park! With me and my boyfriend I find compromise works best, say if I pick the road trip for summer he can then pick where we go for Christmas that year. This way everyone gets a little bit of exactly what they want:)

Leave him.... Of course I'm kidding. I personally haven't had this issue. My hubby indulges my DL love, and he has a great time, because I love it so much. I'm like a kid and he just gets a kick out my silliness and enjoys seeing me happy. Hopefully your bf will want to share the experience of DL through his child's eyes. Ask him if he is willing to look at it as a family event, rather than going somewhere he's not too fond of. You can't make someone love what they don't. So as much as it bums you out, you might have to resign to the fact that you'll have to go to DL with friends. Which is perfectly fine. 😊😊 - DisneyFanZoe 1099.6 #75 9:50AM
