Hi everyone!! I've been gone for a bit, but i'll be back more often now! Minibee is loving all our Disneyland trips. As soon as we walk through those gates, he falls right asleep :) wish that would work at 3am!! ;)
I'm working Hungry Bear tonight 6-closing (9 I think) so ya'll better come say hi, and see my growing Noah Belly!! Come get some yummy sweet potato fries, and maybe a bumblebee cupcake! :) But seriously, it gets lonely out there and I need to make some more MW friends. So do it!! :)
I'm hearing a lot about the issues with the computers/registers at a lot of our quick service restaurants. Just wanted to say, please be patient!! I know it's frustrating for you guests but it's even more frustrating for us CMs when we can't fix things to better serve you guys. Disneyland is not perfect and issues do happen. Best thing to do is move along to another place to eat, and not let it ru More...
I know this has been posted, but here's more info on Merida at Disneyland :) Beginning in mid-May, Merida will be coming to Disney Parks in an all new character play and greet experience. At Disneyland Park, Merida will appear near "it's a small world" in Fantasyland in a setting reminiscent of her Scottish Highlands home. As they wait their turn to meet her, young guests will be invited to engage More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
