Random trivia question (that I don't know the answer to). Why are there nets covering the treetops surrounding the walt and Mickey statue? The lights are separate so I am completely stumped why they would need nets, as they seem to encourage wildlife not exclude it. Any ideas?

Had fun with my quiet little RAK for the day. Adorable 6 yr old, mom and grandma sat behind me for parade. Let ms fidgets look thru my pins for entertainment so she wouldn't drive mom nuts. After parade told her I needed help picking a new pin for my lanyard and let her keep the one she picked out from the cast member. Good fun all around.

Solo trips rock. Started in Cali adventure, unfortunately WOC fast passes were already done. Went and got my new jack pin bag, spent an hour getting all my pins inside. Traded around, did some shopping, now waiting for the parade. Scores a seat in the shade since it's just me so i didn't need much space. Day well spent.

I miss Disneyland!! Barely been all summer. Staff at camp, then vbs at church, then Mexico, then a weekend, now today I leave for another weeklong camp. Fun but SHEESH I'm tired  and feelin just a bit goofy today on top of it all
