Unfortunately this is not true. Walt passed away before Club 33 opened. I found this fact on the inside of the menu when we dined there. There is a sketch of him dining at a table by a window at Club 33.

You should go on the Disney Visa website and read the fine print. I have one and I know there are several restaurants that won't accept them in DTD and I don't know if they'd let you use them to buy alcohol. - LaneSparrow316 846.9 #106 10:13AM

When we redeem ours, they give us a Disney gift card. You can use them World of Disney in dtd, and most places in the parks. Exceptions would be those who only accept cash (balloon vendors, etc.) and those with an outside sponsorship, (I'm assuming the new Starbucks won't accept them?).
