I was looking at the DL calendar. The hubby and I will be at the parks on May 6-May 8. No fireworks show were listed for DL. Are there no fireworks show during these days or is it a "tbd" type of thing?
Also, will world of color be happening this time of the year? I noticed that DCA closes at 9pm, but there is a WOF showing at 9:15pm.
Anyone care to enlighten me? lol Much ap More...

Its about a happy meal toy that escapes the display case to be played like a real toy. Jane lynch (glee) is the voice of another new toy. Little buzz looks like a vinylmation lol. Cant wait to see the muppets and this new short!! who else is goin?!
useless fact: president obama and other world leaders will be getting their dose of disney this weekend at the Disney Aulani resort. They're having a fundraiser there for the APEC convention :) just thought i'd share since i've been MIA from MW for a very long time

Does anybody know how deep the water is at Rivers of America? I paddled the little canoe a loooong time ago but I don't even remember the experience. I've never gone to TSI or rode the big ship. The boats were always closed or too long of a wait. My mom usually went on the Mark Twain for a short nap lol. I think I have a fear of falling into the water, struggling to swim (which i can't), and seein More...

Well anyway, to those who were trying to get in touch with me, I hope you all got my emails :) The pixar/Disney princess party we threw for them was today and it was a success! Has anybody seen disney shows in their own hometowns? Hawaii's never really on the tour list, but whenever big names come to town, I get VIP tickets asap! I've seen Disney On Ice, the Lion King Broadway (super amazing! you forget humans are operating the animals!), and first row at the Beauty and the Beast broadway! Oh, and I've seen Raven in concert and Alladin at DCA.
Has anyone read about this? I saw this on the Ellen show a while back. This pic was taken a very long time ago. You see where those arrows point to? Well, 20-something years later, they got married. They were looking at old pics and the man realized that was his dad in the background and it was him in the stroller. Now that's some disney magic!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
