Memorial Day kind of marks the start of summer. It will be busier than the beginning and middle of May but not as busy as June July and August. - IDVandalSkipperCM

Yeah. Most colleges are out for the summer by then and some school districts are done too. You'll have some Grad Nights I believe and school groups doing trips and projects. - IDVandalSkipperCM 1326.5 #62 11:09AM
Some schools in CA are still in session, but lots of end of the year school groups. Also it is the start of summer. So Cal gets many visitors then. - MeridasHair

Most schools this year end of May. I work for Los Angeles unified and we end first week of June. So good chunk will be still in school - MarshaMouse
