Just watched Disney on Ice, 100 Years of Magic!! It was amazing!! I would highly recommend watching it!! Especially if you need a Disney fix! They did a nod to Small World, that was super cute! They also nodded to The Electrical parade! Pocahontas made an appearance!! It was wonderful! Here in Sacramento Travel Zoo/gold star had a great deals, so check your local city for any promotions!!
Aw my parents sometime in the early 80s, before they got married! A date at Disney! It was a great surprise finding this, especially since they are going to celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on the 25th!
Hi! My cousin wants to join MW, we are trying to think of a cute user name for her, but we can't think of any! Beauty and Beast, Peter Pan and Aladdin are her top 3 favorite movies! Her name is Dina so any suggestions are welcome!!
Look at what I found! I was digging through my scrapbook stuff and I found these pictures! Taken in 01,if my memory serves me right I think that time it was at DCA! I loved the snails, they are so cute!!
This is my project for the next couple days! I love the album and the kit! The kit has THE cutest paper I've ever seen!!! I have tons of pictures, but I edit through as I'm always going! Looking at the live pictures on here helps me stay motivated!!
Good Morning!! It amazes me, I had no problems waking up around 530/6 for DL this weekend, yet today at work I can barely function!! It all caught up to me! It was one of the best trips ever!! I just wish my friends understood my MW addiction, so I could of met some of you wonderful people!!! Maybe next time!! Have a good day everyone!!!
At the airport now... Boo!!! But I took these pictures of the emporium windows earlier tonight! I love window displays! The big book explains that some of these figures, have been refurb from 1960's when they started animated windows!!!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
