Loves to learn more about Disney (land in particular) each and every day, even began a blog to keep up with all I learn. Ultimate dream: Disneyland historian. twitter @MzDsny and check out the blog http://disneydocent.blogspot.com
Thanks Captn Sparrow. Been lurking around for about 2 years! But wanted to formally say hello to all MWs! Just a Disney nerd (no negative connotation whatsoever!) who loves Disneyland and its history. Have a great day to all.
Go on face book type in mousewait trivia in the search box. When there make sure you are logged in ( through the home button) or your points won't transfer. It should say welcome, your level; and three buttons within that window. Click on the start. You get five questions a day.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
